Bliss activities onboard

I'm thinking about booking a NCL Bliss cruise, but I'm seeing conflicting information of what activities are onboard.  Does the NCL Bliss have a ropes course and climbing wall?  If so, where are they located?

Which ships do have a ropes course and climbing wall?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!  This page really needs to be updated, my kids would have been very disappointed:

Why wouldn't you got to NCL for their ships' deck plans?

I'd look at the Escape. The ropes course is insane and the waterslides are pretty fun too. We loved it this past July.

Best option is go to ncl.com and review the ships.

The Bliss is missing too many free fun things I won't do a family cruise on her again. No sports court, shuffle board, etc. I also think they need a family show like acrobats.

Epic, Escape, Getaway and Breakaway have the most toys, but if an itinerary interests you explore other ships too. The kids and teen clubs drive fun for the young people too.

The escape has the Ropes Courses and fun water slides. The Joy when she comes out of referb has a large Arcade games area, Race Track and I believe Laser Tag. Bliss has water slides, Race Track, Laser Tag and several elements that are a little more Adult oriented. All ships are a little different in what they offer except of they all float 🙂

For now.....

As the Escape reaches her 5-year birthday (and time for a major dry dock face lift), at lease one of the version of the dry dock project has them removing the underutilized ropes course and sports deck and replacing it with a go kart track. Engineering was still completing an analysis of the impact of the weight of the go kart track on the ship's stability.

We're new to cruising and was trying to compare the amenities aboard different cruise lines.

That site doesn't even say there is a rope course or climbing wall! On the deck plans there or on the main page!

It literally says 'No Rock Climbing Wall' and 'No Ropes Course' under Activities on the right side of the page.

Activities

  •  3 Outdoor Pools swimming
  •  10 Whirlpools (hot tubs)
  •  No Rock Climbing Wall
  •  No Flow Rider
  •  No Ice Rink
  •  Bowling
  •  No Zipline
  •  Waterslide
  •  Water Park
  •  No Ropes Course
  •  No Mini Golf
  •  No Golf Simulator
  •  No Sports Court
  •  No Boxing Ring
  •  Jogging Track

Oh I hope not!  Our family enjoyed the Escape more than the Bliss because of the ropes course and sports deck.  We switched our Encore cruise to the Escape because the go kart and laser tag was a one and done for us.  I know some people enjoy them but for the cost and the actual time you spend on them wasn’t worth it.

I do agree about the Escape and the ropes course. I hope they come up with something other than a go cart track on all their ships. Makes them kind of redundant. However the Escape needs to do something about the smoke (no I'm not a smoker) in the 678 area. The Bliss has handled this well with the private room in the Casino. I hope they could do something with this in a remodel situation on the Escape and perhaps add another enclosed area with a bar that could be smoking as well.
