Yacht Club Drinks included on MSC island?

It has been mentioned in past promos that they are included in the YC area.  However, the new promos don't show the YC area.  We may not know for sure until Ocean Cay actually opens.

If not, then nothing to stop you taking a carrier bag with previously stored minibar drinks and a couple of glasses....they are your entitlement as a YC guest.....don't forget the minibar snacks also, so you have something to 'wash down'!!

Totally agree as no one knows what MSC is going to do and all the hopeful positive comments  comments =0 as no one has any idea except what they want to see.  Ask your butler when and if the time comes for the private island.

there is drink package available for ocean cay, but it specifically excluded YC guests.. so i guess it's included.

OCEAN CAY ISLAND ALCOHOLIC PACKAGE

Including:

  • spirits (premium brands excluded)
  • cocktails
  • wines by the glass
  • beer
  • canned soft drinks
  • fruit juice
  • mineral water
  • energy drinks

Can be consumed in Ocean Cay island facilities.

This package can be sold to Adults over 21 years of age. All Adults occupying same cabin and all family traveling in different staterooms must purchase same kind of package. The package is for personal use only and valid for one order at a time. The ID card is not transferrable. Not available for MSC Yacht Club Guests.

We really don't know a few things for sure.  YC area on latest maps is gone but guessing it will just be delayed past November.

YC not included in package implies they are getting something.

I think MSC will get this right and not charge YC guests for food and drink on Ocean Cay. I do have some concerns about there actually being a YC area on Ocean Cay when it's all said and done simply because the island is tiny. I'll start a different thread for that discussion :).

We stopped at Sir Bani Yas island on a cruise from Dubai, they had a full YC set up there with a separate seating and dining area and a full bar.

All of the drinks packages are honoured on Sir Bani Yas and the buffet is also included for everyone. This will not be the case on Ocean Cay though.
