Zencruising On The Breakaway 4-28-19!!!

We had a good lunch and a few more drinks and soon it was time to head back to port. This was our second time at Mr Sancho’s and again it did not disappoint. For $59 it is worth every bit. Good food, drinks and service. 

 

The taxis are lined up at the entrance to Mr  

Sancho’s so getting a ride back is never a worry. We hopped in our cab and we were off. We had decided that we were going to stop at Mega Mart to check it out. 

 

We we have arrived.

 

If you want it you can find it at Mega Mart. You can even buy a motorcycle or scooter here.

Mrs Zen spotted a Starbucks at the port so we had to go in. She got her usual and also picked up a Cozumel Starbucks mug to add to her collection.

The MSC Armonia was still in port with us.

 

 

The water here here is beautiful.

I have always thought that the cool towels and cold water or lemonade NCL has for you when you are getting back to the ship is nice touch. Today was “Rock The Dock”.

Once back on the ship I headed up to the pool to hang out and listen to the reggae band and have a few drinks. Mrs Zen went to the cabin for a siesta. I enjoy the vibe by the pool.

 

 

I believe this was a green Long Island. Whatever it was I know I consumed a few of them while kicking it at the pool.

We dined at Le Bistro tonight where  Mrs Zen and I shared excargots. We have had escargots before and found it to be okay. We both agreed tonight's was really good. She had the French Onion Soup which she said was amazing. 

 

 

I had the stuffed Artichoke which was pretty good.

For the main entree i had the lamb which was very good.

 

 

Mrs Zen opted for the Tenderloin.

 

 

Although we were both stuffed you always have room for dessert! We shared the Fondue Au Chocolat for 2. It was very good but messy. 

 

When you are on vacation a little dessert is never enough so I had the Profiteroles which was awesome!

 

 

If there is Ceme Brulee on the menu Mrs Zen is going for it. Today would be no different. 

 

 

The only portion of the menu I got a picture of was the dessert menu. Go figure!

oh my fav speciality is Le Bistro.... only went there on the Epic.... only time I had escargot - your pictures OMG... I can't wait till I am on the Breakaway to eat there again!

You can rent a cabana for an extra charge.

 

 

They have swings to kick back on at one of the bars. The other side is 1 of 3 pools.

You all look like you had a fantastic trip. Great review. I always love to hear other peoples opinions about where they went and how it was to navigate once there.  We are booked for Mr. Sanchos in Feb 2020 and we booked the one with the cabana pictured and the 1/2hr massage......cant wait!

Flyby...this is the first I've heard of it. I just ordered me some for our cruise and "drink package". 😄   Did it really work well? I'm super excited about this. We are not big drinkers, but want to take advantage of our "free booze" while on the ship. This will help if it works. LOL

We used FlyBy for the first time on our last cruise.  It worked great!  We took 3 in the morning after breakfast and then 3 at night before going to bed.  We drank a lot!!!  But never had a hangover or even the slightest hint of a hangover. 

 

My husband read up about it when we returned and found out that the ingredients are actually good for you.  So we take 1 a day now along with our other vitamins.

One a day? Really? What benefits does it have? Does it give you energy or ??? I may have to check into it.

He looked it up and told me, but I don't remember the specifics.  Apparently it is good for your liver.  Since we are up there in age (mid 50's) and lived through the 80's, I figure my liver needs all of the help we can give it.

 

We have been taking it once a day now for 2 weeks, since returning from our latest cruise.  I still take 3 at night if I have been drinking.  I do feel better than normal when I drink.  Doesn't do a lot for energy, but I don't necessarily need that.  He is big on vitamins - fortunately that is all we have to take - so I figure if he says it is good for us and won't hurt us, why not?  

The only draw back is that it is quite expensive.  Especially for 2 of us!

The Flyby did work. Mrs Zen & I are not big drinkers either but when on a cruise we do like to indulge. It did wonders for me on the first sea day. I woke up the next morning feeling pretty good, Actually I felt much better than I deserved. Thanks for following along on this review. I really enjoy reading yours!

After dinner it was time head over to Syd Norman’s Pour House where we were going to meet “Michigan” They we kind enough to reserve a spot for Mrs Zen & I in the booth they scored. I started off with my usual Painkiller.

 

 

The band was just as good as the night before. Here is a snippets of Cheap Tricks “Surrender.” I hope the clips loads.

After a great night we headed to the Glow Party which was out at Spice H2O. On the way over Mrs Zen & I we getting ready to take our picture at the little photo kiosk again when "Michigan walked by. We had to have a picture of all of us to document this great night. 

 

 

When we got to Spice H2O the Glow Party was already in full party mode.

After dancing and drinks at the Glow Party we decided to call it a night. We snapped a pic by Margaritaville.

 

 

The maintenance workers were cleaning the pool.
