Rare Scrapnana Posted June 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Another HAL early arrival with Westerdam at the CT dock from 0800-1800. Joining Westerdam is one of my other favorite ships, Queen Elizabeth, at the FKL dock from 1400-2200. Also in port are Norwegian Jewel at the AJ dock from 0700-1315 and Eclipse at the AS dock from 0730-2200. Thursday's weather is showing some improvement with only a 20% chance of rain. The prediction is for clouds early and partial sunshine (!) later in the day. High will be 62F/17C and the low 48F/9C. Sunrise is at 3:52 am and sunset at 10:05 pm. The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/. Next up: Volendam on Friday.
Sharon in AZ Posted June 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Thanks for the reminder. Not sure I'll make the early sail in this time, but will check in when I first wake up.
Happily@Sea Posted June 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Westie tends to show up early - she did last year. I hope to remember to watch.

Rare rafinmd Posted June 13, 2019 #13 Share Posted June 13, 2019 REALLY early. I planned to finish my walk early and was getting coffee at Panera. I looked and she was already past Thane and made the decision to rush home rather than watch on my mini-IPAD.\ Roy
Happily@Sea Posted June 13, 2019 #14 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Really nice close-ups - thanks, WP.
Rare rafinmd Posted June 13, 2019 #15 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Preparing to show us her aft. The loss of seeing the first minute or two is partly assuaged by her being ahead of the noisemakers and Eclipse. Roy
Rare rafinmd Posted June 13, 2019 #16 Share Posted June 13, 2019 I think this is the best view I've seen for a port to docking at the CT dock. Great job WP. Roy
Happily@Sea Posted June 13, 2019 #17 Share Posted June 13, 2019 That's it for me now - I'll try to remember QE at 2 pm - but definitely for Westie this evening - 6 pm AST.
Rare rafinmd Posted June 13, 2019 #18 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Camera zooming on NCL so our show is definitely over for now. I'll probably post periodic updates on QE from time to time. Right now she's near the Kake pilot station. I'll mostly stay close to home today until my repaired laptop is delivered. Roy
Himself Posted June 13, 2019 #19 Share Posted June 13, 2019 Westerdam is in early! Missed the sail in but found her docked on Kroooz-cams. I hope all have a great day in Juneau. I will miss the sail in of the Volendam as I will be in the air as she docks.

Captain Albert and Captain Pieter Bos. Pieter must still have a roll with HAL. John, are you aware of this?
