Deck 7 Allure

I've read about people "getting stuck" on deck 7 on the Allure. Can someone tell me what this means?

The Boardwalk sign hangs down near the aft elevators so you can't cross over from port to starboard.  you have to do down or up one deck to cross over

I believe it's all Oasis class ships.

I had no idea that was a "thing" but I can attest to it.  Took several trips down and around the hallway to get to the other side before we figured out that we only had to take the stairs or make sure to board the elevator that let us out on the side our cabin was on.

Was just gonna ask but figured deck plan foundation was similar....thanks for confirming.

Yep, it got annoying, we kept forgetting!

It's the same on Harmony.  We adapted quickly and thankfully have rooms on the same side of deck 7 for our next sailing, LOL.

Just did BtB on the Allure on Deck 7 towards the back of the ship.  Used the wrong elevator the first time, and remembered to use the correct side after that. The problem is you only have 5 elevators instead of 10 to use, unless you want to use stairs or walk all the way around.

I've sailed those ships 20+ times, and have only had deck 7 three times. 

But the last time I was on Harmony, I got stuck at least 4 times, maybe more.

I am confused.  Been on all Oasis Class ships and don't recall this.  The photo shows the sign.  Can someone help me remember, by posting a photo or explaining further?  I am really baffled!  Thank you!

Nothing complicated, you simply cannot walk between the port and starboard aft stair/elevator lobbies on deck 7.

Thank you!  I never bumped across this after 9 cruises on this class of ship.  Never on deck 7, so that is why.  Appreciate it.

Likewise, never ran across it either. Have always had deck 12 forward.. live and learn. happy cruising

Happened to us on Harmony Deck 7, was very confused the first day but once we figured out which bank of elevators we had to use, was not a problem the rest of the cruise.
