Last night's Elegant night (third one) menu 

 

 

 

One of our dining companions had the following last night.  DH had a taste and ordered it after he'd finished his cheese fritters 

 

 

 

The lobster was sent back.  The person who ordered it thought it tasted 'off'

 

We had the beef.  The gravy wasn't much different to last night's 🙄 and was disappointing.   The same dish on Seaview was delicious.

 

 

I had cherries jubilee for dessert - a very poor offering!

I'm not too bad at all, just a cough now and then and a slight sniffle.

I'll be wearing a black t-shirt with 'Dubai' on it in sparkly letters ... you can't miss it!!!!! 😂  Thought it would be the best way to go to be recognised (don't know if that's such a good idea or not  🤣🤣)  Please come say 'Hi' if you spot it.

We've sadly disembarked. A fabulous cruise with fabulous people.

OMG ... you've just started me off, lol.  I'm only getting back online since you left.

 

We DID have to leave the ship 🙄  DH had an episode on the way out through the luggage area.  Fortunately we caught a red top returning with a wheelchair and got him into it.  We were then brought to the YC terminal  lounge (not without incident, which I will elaborate on when we get home) and waited there to be escorted back onboard.  We didn't have too long to wait ... 11.30am.  When we got back on, we bumped into the Boschmanns and had a very enjoyable lunch with them in Panorama.

 

We just got back to YC now to be told that someone has been asking for me.  I'm in TSL now;  DH is having a lie-down.

 

We've briefly met Marcoigna in the terminal and look forward to seeing M & I in the next while 😉

We've no idea what's causing whatever it is, but walking a distance seems to bring it on.  Once he rests and/or he starts belching and breaking it up, he's fine.  He developed it at the same time he got the chest infection on Seaview.🤔

In the YC are there up charges for entrees in the MDR? I was surprised to see that MSC does that in the MDR. I've only sailed X & HAL, there weren't extra charges that I remember.

Elevenses 😁

 

 

For those not familiar with the term, "Elevenses", it refers to a morning break when you have tea/coffee, perhaps with a snack, usually around 11am.  When I'm on a ship I like to have a Bailey's and hot chocolate for "Elevenses" once or twice during the cruise  😋

I will post the photos of the rest of the menus when we get home.  They're taking too long to load, they're using too much data and it appears that they're being repeated.
