KrakedMask Posted November 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2019 I was on the Sunrise last week and went up to play mini golf a few times and noticed the balls felt like foam. I have heard some lines use fish food golf balls for driving off the back but not sure if Carnival was one. Does anyone know?
coevan Posted November 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2019 I have not seen driving golf balls off the stern in many, many years, Back then they were regular golf balls.
groundloop Posted November 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2019 Every time we've played mini golf on Carnival they had just plain, ordinary, mundane golf balls.

Rare pirate4me2 Posted November 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2019 The balls on the Sunshine back in September felt much lighter as well, they were not regular golf balls like in the past.
purplephenom Posted November 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2019 To me, they feel like any other golf balls at any other mini golf place. So I'm going to say no, not fish food.
mikenbon Posted November 15, 2019 #7 Share Posted November 15, 2019 We've never played mini golf on any cruise, so it might be something fun to do on a sea day on our upcoming cruise.
LMHC Posted November 15, 2019 #8 Share Posted November 15, 2019 They do seem much lighter than regular golf balls. It is pretty windy up on the sports deck and they are so light they blow around a little too easily to keep them in one spot at times. It would really surprise me if they were edible to fish. neverbeenhere Posted November 15, 2019 #9 Share Posted November 15, 2019 They are made of candy. Please try one and report back after you get out of the clinic. 😋
bluesman0711 Posted November 15, 2019 #10 Share Posted November 15, 2019 This thread has given me the idea to throw a couple Titleist Pro V1's in the suitcase!
