Yes, good information.   I see in these threads that lots of people email their documentation.   But the PDF from Carnival doesn't list an email address, only the info you show!!

Glad I could help.  Where can I find the PDF from Carnival.  I have looked for it and can't find it so I have just sent the information on a fax cover sheet.  It has worked but would prefer the PDF.

Found it by googling "Carnival Shareholder Benefit"   Here's the link:  https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/50351a91-4dc0-4f6b-bfec-684647e6129f

Now this is not a form to submit your request, its simply the shareholder benefit information, and it shows the contact information

Yes I have seen that before.  Carnival used to have a form to fill out but I guess no more.  Princess still has a form to fill out and they are part of Carnival so I thought Carnival would also, Cunard has a form as well.  Can't remember in Holland does.

Coevan, I’ve just read this document above. Can you tell me what it means by reduced - rate. I always buy cruises when they have a special deal so does that include the cheaper deals I get. I don’t want to buy the shares to find out I don’t get obc for them. Thought you might know as it appears you’ve cruised many times. Thanks.

Whenever I send in my docs, I use a free online fax service. There's a bunch of them, just Google. The benefit of doing it that way is when Carnival responds with confirmation, you get an email with their response message automatically, regardless of what you put phone/fax number wise in the sender info.

How did you find out that it was added? I applied for mine and have done it once before but I'm old and can't remember how I was notified............

I received an email saying it was approved.   Then requested an up to date invoice and it showed there

Thanks. I submitted a couple/few weeks ago via mail and I couldn't remember how that all worked last time. I'm betting that they have bigger fish to fry these days so I'll just wait it out.

Most expensive $100 onboard credit I'll ever get I'm sure but hey, whatever. I'll take it.

Well I'm guessing you've had the stock for a while.   Those who have bought while it was below $10 are happy!!   But anyway, its not a 1 time use, you can apply it to every future cruise as long as you keep the stock.

Assuming the Board of Directors keep approving the OBC for ownership which they have been doing every year at the annual meeting.

Every time I Email them for the Shareholder OBC, they say I need to fax the request to them. I guess I have been unlucky with the reps I have been getting when I email, kinda like being unlucky in the casino on the ship 🙂

Sorry, I wasn't clear.   I faxed in my request.   I received an email back letting me know it had been approved.   I've never tried to email the request in, have always faxed it.

just buy more when it dumps again in May/June.

Read an article the other day comparing the situations for RCL, CCL, NCLH.

The conclusion was that RCL was the best run company and to "Buy", NCL was next, also positive and CCL brought up the rear with some even saying to dump it.

Can't find the link, sorry.

And just as many analysts recommend buying it.

The comments are more insightful than the article. CCL has a much better customer service IMHO, but that may change after the latest announcement. https://www.carnivalcorp.com/news-releases/news-release-details/carnival-corporation-announces-additional-steps-further

CCL having a decent day.   Up over 12% right now.   (hope I'm not jinxing it)    Wonder whats driving this as I kinda expected another dip after the recent cancellations??

Quoting Maggie Fitzgerald from CNBC giving a midday stock update:

Shares of cruise operators rallied as the economy continues to gradually reopen. Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruises both jumped more than 12%, while Norwegian Cruise Line soared 14%. These major cruise lines grounded their operations for months to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
