drsel Posted October 4, 2020 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2020 So if a new passenger puts his residence as Nevada, 1. how will they check?2. When will they check-- at the time of booking or at the time of boarding?

Ombud Posted October 4, 2020 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2020 Yeah ..... got one for SF California residents. Same price for the 5 day Getaway that I booked last week. Doesn't matter to me, after the kids FCC our mini-suite is only $1306. VERY reasonable as it's bonus FCC that would expire a month later anyway

Seems to be that way. The Nevada sale was for west coast sailing and the one I already had booked was the same price. But it never hurts to check so I posted this thread.
beg3yrs Posted October 5, 2020 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2020 Got one for Arizona as well. Compared pricing to the two B2B cruises out of LA I've previously booked with my TA and they're much higher that what I already have. Oh well ...

A sale does not always mean it is better than last week's price. For example, lets say apples are $1.49/pound normally at a grocery store. Last week they were on sale for $.99/pound. This week they are one sale for $1.29/pound. Still a sale, just not as good as the previous week. Same with cruise sales.
Lucky TGO Posted October 7, 2020 #12 Share Posted October 7, 2020 I never remember a sale for the people that live in MA. 😢 😩 Tony
triple7tahoe Posted October 7, 2020 #13 Share Posted October 7, 2020 Got it in Washington as well. It appears to me just another form of advertising but I did not see any bargains for any of the six cruises I have booked. I am finding the same thing with "Casino" cruises--Most of the same sailings and, in some cases, the bargain is not as good!
