kdr69 Posted February 15, 2021 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2021 There are also permit fees for certain countries to be able to use a metal detector on the beaches that you would need to pay. Best to have those prepaid prior to arriving so you dont have to waste time getting your permit. Mexico is one i know of for sure. I am looking at bringing mine on my next cruise.

sanmarcosman Posted February 16, 2021 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2021 Did you hear about the guy that paid for his whole cruise using his metal detector at the beach? Neither did I. Have fun 🙂
Pyrate13 Posted February 16, 2021 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2021 I've heard that in some countries they are prohibited as well. Never tried to take mine.

Anything found of value is a bonus. 2
