cbfb Posted August 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Looking to book a sweet sixteen cabin on deck 6 on the summit. Can anyone tell me if being above the theatre causes a noise issue?
DenGNNJ Posted August 18, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Look for the cabin numbers that are above the theater here...

You might want to see if that deck has an obstructed view though.
cbfb Posted August 18, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Thank you both! Looking at the M class cabin 6030 info it looks quiet and unobstructed so I think I’ll go for it!

Don’t forget that the theatre is used during the day for rehearsals as well as other activities

MightyMike Posted September 22, 2021 #9 Share Posted September 22, 2021 We had 6030 in April 2019 and there were no noise issues whatsoever. Being the furthest aft sweet sixteen cabin, it has spectacular views all the way back. It's a fantastic cabin.
Rare Lady Arwen Posted September 22, 2021 #10 Share Posted September 22, 2021 Another vote for this cabin! All sweet sixteen are good cabins, but this one is the best!

ustasmom Posted September 22, 2021 #12 Share Posted September 22, 2021 I'm in that cabin now. Kids are next door. Not our first time in this cabin. No noise.

I am in 6019 (OV) as I decided to save the cash to spend on something other than a balcony.
MightyMike Posted September 23, 2021 #14 Share Posted September 23, 2021 The search button is your friend! Sweet sixteen cabins are the first (forward) 8 balcony cabins on each side on deck 6 of Millennium-class ships. Searching will give you the exact cabin numbers. Deck plans don't show any difference, but in reality, the balcony is double (possibly more) the standard size--more square than rectangular. It's just cool to have a bigger balcony than others paying more than you. Many suggest that cabins 6030 (starboard) and 6035 (port) are the best because they are farthest aft and offer great views of the side of the ship.
