Diamond C&A ‘level’ get 1 twenty four hour period  of ‘surf’ or certain discount towards an internet plan. The 24 hour period is continuous once you activate, meaning you cannot split an hour here one day and use some hours  a few days later. You get to decide which day you want to activate.

Your Diamond member partner would also receive 24 continuous hours, which might be a different 24 hours than your own.

You can use you own devise for the 24 hours or use the PC in the Diamond Club.

Several years ago the D benefit changed from minutes which could be used at various times to a single 24 hr period.

What exactly do you mean by diamond member partner? I am diamond but my sister is not so sharing the same cabin would she also get 24 hours of free Internet? I did not think it worked that way

If you declared/linked her your "partner" she would.

We typically start ours at around noon.  That way we can check email for 2 days for each of us which is 4 days on a 7 day cruise.

 

There is typically WiFi or LTE off ship so that makes up for other days.

Cabin mates, such as a sibling,  do not get reciprocal benefits. Only benefits of their current C&A status.

Yes that is true. Each member gets identical perk even if in same cabin.
