Made a Mistake

In May 0f 2021 I booked a cruise on the Majestic Princess for March of 2022. In my wisdom I booked my return flights out of the Burbank airport. I have discovered that the Burbank airport is a $100 cab ride and Princess does not supply transfers to the Burbank airport. Any suggestions for transportation?

You're more than 45 days out so why not change flight? 

 

Otherwise, Uber or Lyft. At least that way it's per car not per person.

 

I'm a solo so there's no benefit for me to do Uber / Lyft / ride share other than I don't have to wait for their buss. Not a fan of transfers but sometimes its unavoidable

I would recommend the same thing.  And usually flights in/out of LAX are cheaper than Burbank.

There's a Fly Away bus from Burbank airport to LAX, I believe if runs once an hour (check online), and from LAX you could take one of the scheduled Princess transfers or taxi/Uber to San Pedro

          (edit : sorry in your case for a return flight do it in reverse)

It's over a hour drive if traffic is OK.  Cab would probably be more than $100.  Like other have said might be better to see if you can cancel and fly out of LAX or Orange County, John Wayne airport.

I see no benefit flying out of Burbank.   It's just too far.  Traffic would be worse than going to LAX.    Long Beach would be closer if they are flying to an area you want to go.

Most airlines are allowing free changes, so you may be able to switch to LAX or Long Beach, both of which are much closer.

Unless you have already done it, the obvious answer would be to call the airline or the cruise company..

The Fly Away bus isn't at Burbank (BUR) it's in Van Nuys.

Have you looked into the costs of changing the flights? Most airlines have reduced or ended fees for changes and cancelations.
