Cruise Compass?

Hi guys, like everbody else, haven't cruised in awhile, so do the cabin stewards still give out the cruise compass? Don't got an app on my cell phone, so...

You can get copies at guest services.

Last week on Oasis they were putting them in the cabins.

We got them in September on our Alaska 7 day serenade of the seas cruise.  Everyday.

Most of the time, yes.

My cabin steward advised that they don't have the hard copies anymore ... and when he saw the look of dismay on my face, he quickly said that he'd be happy to come up with one for me each day. And he did.

On Symphony in October they gave each cabin occupant one like they previously did.  On Allure last month they were next to impossible to come by.  I asked the cabin steward and guest services. There were zero copies at guest services.  I asked in the diamond lounge, the concierge said he would have them sent to our cabin.  They never appeared, so he just got us one and I would go by in the morning and pick it up.  I use the app, but I really like to have a paper copy also.

We were on the Liberty in October and November and had a hard copy in our room every night.  Did not ask for it but was grateful to have it.

Formal night? Yes.

Top Tier Event? Yes

Meet and Mingle? I was on a 6-day, so it wasn't a "thing" anyway, but it's apparently in suspension for my upcoming 11-day.

Stinkin Mask? You bettcha! Bring some extras so you can swap them out periodically to avoid the grossness.

 

And bring an upbeat attitude -- you'll have a great time (despite the mask). I had a wonderful cruise and am so very much looking forward to the next one.

On some ships there’s a menu choice on the TV for that but it’s not a copy of the printed thing, more like what you find in the app.

Thanks for the memory jogger. When I posted I was thinking they did post them on the TV but couldn't remember what cruise line if not all of them we've cruised with.

According to someone I asked currently on the Harmony the Cruise Compass is still being put in the cabin by the cabin attendant. Sounds like the absence of the Cruise Compass isn't fleetwide.

It does seem to be ship specific.  On the Freedom for the last two weeks we got the compass every night in the cabin on the first 4 night, and then they stopped doing it for the subsequent cruises.
