The funny thing about those shirts is I recognize some that I bought in 2013 and 2015.

Haha, yes I just bought some in October and December of 2021.

So far we have sailed 661 nm from Baltimore, but we still have 787 nm to go until we arrive in St. Croix on Wednesday morning. We are currently sailing at 19.2 kts.

Hello everyone and good day. Today was a very beautiful and relaxing day.

The sun came out and many passengers took advantage of a very sunny day.. Even a few adults went into the pool. The water was ice cold. Kids will swim in water cold or hot, but it surprised me that adults wanted to take a dip.

I went to the port and shopping talk, and there were a lot of ports to discuss. Royal Caribbean must get paid from many vendors in these ports because they are advertised heavily. I don't have any problems with that because these shops have very good pricing and very good customer service.

I had to get a new shower curtain installed in my cabin. It seems that the original shower curtain was about 3 in above the lip of the shower base. A simple shower last night turned into a little flooding. . .Ooops. The new shower curtain has been installed, and it is now 2 inches below the lip of the shower base.

I think I may have watched news twice today, and it felt wonderful.

Here's some pics from today. . .

Thanks for tuning in.

I'm betting your original shower curtain is the one they put in JS and above with tub/shower combos as it doesn't have to be as long.  But, whoever put it in obviously paid no attention whatsoever.

Hi Radio,

I'm enjoying your topics and appreciate you taking the time to post them.  I'm new to cruising and I'm learning already.

My wife and I will be on the ship next week and are looking forward to it!

Seeing that you quickly handled the common shower curtain too short complaint with success is great.

I have a very basic question:  Is there an easy way to get drinking water (fill a bottle, for example) on board Enchantment of the Seas?  Or should we pre-buy cases for our trip?

Thank you,

GV Dave

Thanks for the nice comments.

I have not seen any water bottle filling stations on board. Many passengers however are filling up cups with water at the ice and water stations and then they use the cup to fill up their bottles.

It is very easy to bring bottled water on board this ship though.

The following info is on the Royal Caribbean website.

"Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom"

Welcome to DAY 4 of "LIVE" from Enchantment of the Seas.

We are on our third day at sea. The wind has picked up quite a bit,  but the Captain has suggested that there would be nominal winds for most of the day.

As every minute passes, we are getting closer to Saint Croix where it will be 84°f today. We are scheduled to arrive at the Fredericksted Pier in St. Croix at 8 am tomorrow morning.

I went to the headliner performance in the Orpheum Theater, and was lucky to see Instrumentalist Kuba. He uses a vibraphone that can simulate over 200 instruments and many other musical effects. It was a very unique but excellent show.

I also liked the "Celebrity Heads" Game Show that was held in the Centrum. A lot of laughs were enjoyed by all passengers.

Today, there are many activities scheduled inside and out. As the sun comes up today I am sure there will be a lot less cold weather wear as passengers start to enjoy the next several days of sunny skies and warm weather.

Thanks for tuning in.

We always take a water bottle or two - preferably wide-mouth - and fill it from the tap in our cabin, or from a glass of water (or two) at the buffet.  We really like ship water.

I agree, the ships tap water works well with me.

I was asked previously if a Diamond Plus member was able to get a Premium Coffee using one of their Diamond Plus Free drink vouchers. I responded no because I tried to do it and the attendant said it is not possible.

I now stand corrected. It appears that the attendant was new and unaware of the process. I just purchased a Coffee Frappuccino and was going to pay. The attendant asked "would you like to use one of your Diamond Plus drinks?"

Wow, I said "sure". I am very happy about that. I will be visiting Cafe' Latte-tudes frequently during this Cruise.

What is the "shelf" price of a Frappuccino?  I need to redeem my 5 vouchers according to value received.  😄

Hello everyone and good day. Today was a  wonderful day filled with sunny skies and warm weather. (80° f).

The weather really makes a difference on the passenger attitude. Most passengers today seemed very happy and content. They were also very friendly, as this is the type of cruise they wanted to go on. And I agree. . . Oftentimes the weather seems to make or break a cruise for many passengers. Passengers =and= Crew were very happy.

Cruise director Bobby suggested that Enchantment of the  Seas was having the very first Belly Flop contest since the cruise re start. He really made a big deal out of that fact. This contest has been forbidden due to the pandemic but the whole fleet would begin doing it again as of today.

Bingo, Trivia, Shopping talks, Enrichment Lectures, and Bingo. You name it and it was happening today.

I even had a chance to get some sun while reading on the Promenade Deck. It was very relaxing, and peaceful.

We have sailed 1,122 nautical miles since we left Cruise Maryland. We only have 322 nautical miles until we arrive in St. Croix.

Here are a few pics from today.
Thanks for tuning in. . .
