Cruise to where, when, itinerary...cabin level? Not enough info to give ANY answer.

Consider the Barberi - East coast home port, short itineraries, very low cost, no dress code. Edited March 24, 2022 by navybankerteacher

When I vacation, I go to places. If I want to go to Aruba or Rome, I'll take whatever ship that's going there. The destination is my priority. I would never make a decision based on ship. If you really want to see Rome, do you think an eight hour port call - at a port at least an hour away (each way) - is the way to do it? If there was a great ship, with good food, service, and entertainment - and a grubby ship with little going for it, you would really “…never make a decision based on ship…”? But when you cruise, there is no guarantee that you will make it to any port. If I want a particular destination, I’ll take a land vacation. Aquahound Posted March 25, 2022 #11 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Without any other info provided, I would recommend Escape. I say that because I simply think Escape is a nicer ship than Magic....that is, if you're referring to Carnival Magic. Much more info is needed, though, for that to be a solid recommendation. And yes, I most certainly agree that the ship and line matters. Yes, destination is important, but this is a cruise vacation. Therefore, the cruise matters too.
