We booked a casino cruise out of Buenos Aires for next winter.  Was about to purchase tix in premium economy from AA, but was concerned about what if Celebrity cancels (you never can tell these days).  Called Celebrity Air. They gave us the flights I wanted for $25 less than aa.com.  I got to pick my seats.  And we don’t have to pay for the tickets until final cruise payment date.  Sweet!!!!

That payment is what I like most about it! I also like that if the fare goes down (unlikely now but maybe in the future) you can ask X Air to look at their available fares and see if you can get the reduction. I have done that in the past.

I've done three with CA and never had a problem.

I booked my return flight from Barcelona from Celebrity Air and had my seats for over 6 months on Delta. They cancelled my flight on Feb 28 (flight was May 6). Oops, we made a mistake. Now you are in row 39, 4 rows from the back. I would never book with them again unless it was a GREAT deal.

Celebrity Air is great until there is a problem.  They will assist you.  No guarantees and unless exceptions like a cancelled cruise no refunds.

Good intel thank you

I have never purchased air through cruise lines before, however, Celebrity Air had the price of 59.00 each way from Tul-Ewr so couldn’t pass it up. I have had AA changed the times (by minutes) 3 times and keep the same seats I chose when I booked with them except when they had an equipment change. I called CA and they let me pick my seats looking at an AA seat map. So far I have had no issues but I have realized calling during the day to CA is when I have had better help to questions. I do have a question for CC, I normally get free checked bag, does the airline recognize the use of their credit card for the benefit?

I guess it really depends which tariff Celebrity books at.  We used them several times and were happy, specially when embarkation port was changed from Istanbul to Athens and our flight was automatically rebooked without hastle or cost to us.

We now have European flights included for 1 Euro pp for Mediterranean cruise.
Although we immediately had booking ref and could find bookings on Swiss Airlines, we had to wait until tickets were issued 30 days before flight to see exact tariff and conditions.

This was last week and we found out that our tariff includes 2 big checked luggages and 1 handluggage pp, which I have never seen with Swiss yet. Normally there is a light eco with no checked luggage or classic eco with 1 included checked luggage. Extra luggage usually costs 30 Euro pp per direction. On the other hand our seat selection now is only free 24 hrs before.  If we want to reserve a seat before that, it costs 14 Euro.

So beats me what tariff this is, but won t look gift horse . . . !

We booked CA for flight to/from Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific. Cathay dropped there fare by $800, but CA only reduced our fare by $360. Thus, lost $440 by using CA. You never know what type of ticket contract CA uses .
