I and am sure many others would like to hear from those currently sailing on the Equinox that departed 4/15/22.  Are they requiring masks to be worn inside except for eating and drinking?  Have they canceled any ports of call?  Have they changed any of the covid protocols due to the increased number of covid cases on the previous cruise?  Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Waiting to hear the latest information from Equinox on this cruise. We are scheduled to board on April 24th.
We are very concerned regarding the isolation policies presently.. we are booked in a suite with balcony and do not want to be put into a cabin without a balcony. I get sea sick if I can not just walk out on my balcony for fresh air!

We are on the Equinox now and seem to be the only ones wearing masks inside. If you test positive, you move to deck 3 and will not stay in your suite.

Has their been any announcements regarding numbers of Covid cases on board?  Have any ports been canceled?  Is the buffet self serve now?

The crew still serves in the Oceanview. No announcements about Covid so far. All islands are open on this cruise for passengers.

Thanks for the update.  Please keep us updated if there's any changes in ports or they make any announcements about covid.

Just got off the 4/3-4/15/22 Equinox sailing and reported Covid issues. Two of the five people we traveled with on cruise just tested Positive for Covid including DW.

We wore masked most of cruise. I wonder how many have tested positive since arrival back in Ft Lauderdale.

It was interesting when we left the ship on Friday and walked down the trunk and saw five black SUV’s picking up Covid passengers and approximately 50 bags of luggage on the docks.

I read someplace that the captain has people masking in the theater and casino on this current sailing...is that the case?

Are you seriously thinking a daily covid count will be provided?  It took over a month to get ship by ship data from the CDC using the Freedom of Information act.

Thats not what I asked.  I asked to be updated if the captain made any announcements regarding covid cases on board.  He has provided this information on previous sailings.

For your information the Captain on the Equinox sailing of 4/3/22 to 4/15/22 kept us informed on a daily basis at 5:30pm once Covid was detected on board. On day 10 or 11 of our cruise, Captain reported at 5:30 pm that there were no new cases and passengers applauded in the MDR!

When we cruised in October and December they announced it every day.

People were seated in the MDR at 5:30PM?  I thought we had the early seating and that started at 6PM?

You may have booked at 6 pm for early seating on the Equinox but when you board you may find out that the MDR opens at 5:30 pm. Actually most nights the MDR opened as early as 5:20 pm.

Shhhhhh……you guys are letting out subtle secrets for us early dinner arrival passengers, lol

Sorry; and Murano opened at 5:30 pm even though bookings prior to sailing shows 6 pm.

These times vary ship to ship. I was on Apex three months ago and all dining times started at 6 pm or let say 5:55 pm
