Live … Ovation of the Seas …Alaska … May 13 - May 20, 2022

Recommended Posts

We just played our free $8 each at the casino. Sharon cashed out $12.25 and I cashed out $22.25.  More fun than in the old days when you would go to the roulette table and bet half on red and half on black.

I tried to use my free money at the casino today but I could never get it to work. Sigh.

In better news - I may have missed an update but I had heard the the earliest flight you could use luggage valet for was noon. My flight is at 11:59 am so I assumed I would miss out by one minute. The form was delivered today and it says the earliest qualifying flight is at 11 am. Yay!

Tonight we got to the MDR right at are scheduled dining time and we could see the line moving in.   We never had to stop.  It got a little crazy after that.   It took 1 hour and 15 minutes before the main meal was served.  1 hour and 45 minutes was spent there.

We went to the lake house and did major cleaning today.  Weather here at Table Rock Lake is spectacular. Mid to upper 80s.  Tomorrow, I am going to go wake surfing, hopefully successfully behind nephew new boat.  I am thinking the water will be cool.  Hope I don’t fall and freeze.

@Ozark_Kid  I am so far behind on these boards, but read that you were doing this live review.

I am now following with great interest, as I board on the 20th for a B2B.

Your photos are spectacular (as always).

Have fun!  Stay healthy!

How did I not know. I bet you will love your cruse! Have you done Alaska before?  We are really enjoying it and we haven't even been to the first port!  Thanks for following along.

My return flight was 11:15 a.m. and the luggage tags and check in ticket showed up about 9:00 p.m. the night before disembarkation.

What are your plans for the 2 days after the cruise? We don't fly home until Sunday after our cruise trying to plan our 2 days in Seattle.

I'm already home.

I'd get a City Pass and go to the Space needle, Pike Place Market, the Aquarum, etc.

We don't have anything locked and I let the ladies decide.  Here are some of the ideas.  The Pikes market place to watch them throwing the fish.  The ferris wheel and near it the aquarium.  The space needle

That's not good. I assume it's due to staffing. I wonder how short they are?
