Bid Upgrade - Double Points Promotion

Admittedly Royal Caribbean would be the authority to answer my question.  But do you think I run any risk of losing the Double Promotion designation (from 2021 yada) if I bid and receive an upgrade?

No you would not lose your Double Points.

Also if you're not aware, a Royal UP upgrade from an IS, OS, Balc to a JS or above will not earn the extra suite point.

Not bidding up that high, so no worries.  I just didn’t want to run the risk of losing the promotion by a “change” in my reservation.

I upgraded from inside to balcony no problem.

We won a Royal Up from an inside to a panoramic oceanview and received the double points. No worries.
