Casino email offers disappear early?

About a month ago we received via email an offer for a free oceanview cabin, which had to be booked by Sept 15 and there were many (at least 40) different cruises to choose from.  I decided to wait until after an upcoming cruise to book, but when I checked this week (last check was 10 days ago) ALL of the 40 cruises were gone!

I know I can call my PCC (HAL) agent and ask about this, but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience (best to know ahead of calling)?

I’ve found when I try to search online and sort by “lowest price”, it doesn’t actually give me the casino offers first as I’d expect. I have to go thru the pages one by one.

Same here, but that is not the issue I am encountering.  No casino offers at all showing up, whereas there were about 40, 10 days ago.

Mine from the book by Sept 15th offering are showing up. That offer had had the following cruises on it.

HEP2235CO_SAILINGS_USD1.pdf (hollandamerica.com)

You can see the offer on the website in the pic below. However there is a 5 page offer out there that expires Oct 15th where the offers do not show on the website as they do not require the $200 refundable deposit in OBC. It is a $100 deposit given back to you by the casino cashier. That is why checking the site and sorting by price many times will not give you the best offers.

The cost to upgrade on the $200 refundable OBC offers is significantly higher than the cost of the cruise which shows online as $507 to book. You really need to check those emails.

Thanks - I do watch them closely.  I just never had one disappear early like this mailing just did.

Was timing was before and after the announced the changes to the testing/vaccination requirements. Maybe after announcing.they expected to see a higher level of bookings?

Dave - my wife and i got the same offer with the 9/15 booking date deadline. They are still showing in our accounts and have been for the last week or so as I have been considering one of the Panama Canal full transit sailings.  Try again.  maybe a glitch in your account.

Thanks - this information is what I needed to know.  I will call my PCC as soon as I am ready to book.  I have tried both of our accounts and neither are sowing up the free cabins.  We are just off a cruise and my DW gambled more than normal and got alot more freeplay offered this time at the end of the cruise, so I thought perhaps this was affecting the offers.

Just got a private sale email that list all of the 2022/23 Caribbean season which made up the bulk of the last 2 Casino Fare offers. So maybe that's where they went.

I do think it's poor business to send a communication that an offer last until 09/15 or 10/15 and then not offer it. I'm sure it said "While supply lasts" but still.....

I just don’t understand when y’all say these offers are showing in your account. Am I not looking in the right place? I’ve got the offers via email, but even doing a cruise search for any of the listed ones never gives me a $100 or $200 fare. It only gives me the mariner discount rate. On Carnival, I can pull up my VIFP account and then pull up all of my offers. So confused!

I got this email this afternoon.  My July 2023 Zaandam cruise is listed.  Not at a good enough sale to get me cancel my current booking.

I had some really great offers earlier this summer, but the last couple emails I got only offered 30% off, no drinks or money to use in the casino. Think that are tightening up to see how things go.  Or, I took three within the past year and didn't spend enough money in the casino. LOL

So, I just had the same thing happen like Dave.  I had lots of offers that expired on September 15 vanish!  I got a new offer(that was lousy) that expires on September 6th.  What are they doing???

Did you try booking the old offer to see if they will honor it?  I will likely do this next week as I am waiting on something before booking.

I haven't tried to book one yet.  I too am waiting on another offer.

I decided to call my PCC and see what she has for us.  It seems that she can still see our original offer for the two dates I want and can book them, but must be prior to Sept 15.  This is great news and I guess we will be booking them in a few days.  Still hoping for a better offer, but my PCC said that she could not see anything ready to be emailed to us at this time.  Also, with the free cabin offer (even though we are paying to upgrade) we cannot combine ANY other offer with it,
