Queen Victoria main dining room.

Hi, we are back with Cunard and on Queen Victoria very shortly,our last 3/4 cruises have been with P&o and we do love having lunch in the main dining room every day.My question is will QV main dining room be open everyday.!!

It was on our cruise 3wks ago to fjords except for embarcation day.

Although the Britannia will be open, I recommend giving the Golden Lion a try one day.

Embarkation day is a good day to try the Golden Lion.  Britannia restaurant isn’t open, and a lot of people don’t realise that the pub is open so it’s one of the quieter days to get lunch there.

97 days until our TA. Based on everyone’s post I’m planning Golden Lion for embarkation day. What two things should we order? What’s the best? Thanks @Host Hattie for asking the time.

Yes but our changeovers aren't a full ship changeover as its a mix of 7 & 14 day cruisers

We always have embarkation lunch in the Golden Lion. We boarded the QM2 for the 1 July Boston/Halifax trip. We headed straight to the pub around 1PM. After ordering a few pints we were told that food would not be available until 2. The fish and chips and the ploughman's lunch were both as good as ever.

We usually do as well but we have a later arrival time for our next cruise so I'm hoping a late lunch will be available.

I noticed the Programme for Queen Elizabeth in March had lunch from 2-5.
