And they are not even close to being the same.

One of the best perks in a full suite is the concierge lounge.  In addition to a nice variety of canopies, coffees and drinks, there is a person there to help or answer questions (especially regarding your Medalion app)

We did enjoy Platinum/Elite lounge when it was in Skywalker.  Best views!

Mini suite cabin does not have any special lounge amenity. Only passengers in full suites have access to the concierge lounge, and only Royal Class ships have this lounge.

The Platinum/Elite/Full Suite "lounge" is just a few hour cocktail gathering from about 5pm until 7pm most evenings, which is dinner time for early diners.  They serve some lower priced cocktails, full priced drinks and selections of snacks. If you have one of the beverage inclusive fares drinks are included or charged according to the terms of the fare. On the Discovery expect the event is in the Vista Lounge. It's the only location large enough. We seldom attend. Don't feel it is anything special.

When we were on Royal Princess the PES lounge was in Club 6. It was just a 3 day repositioning trip, so probably not a lot of Elites.

Sorry, I don't remember.  We had beverage packages.  Another nice thing is it was always open when we dropped in.

I never purchase the drink package , that's why I'm curious.

Largely agree about the Platinum / Elite lounge. The best part has been making some long lasting friends who we met at these events

Our first cruise after becoming Platinum was a 15-day Panama Canal cruise. We really liked the lounge; we felt we had made it!🤣 Now we go a few nights even though we have the drink package & go to any bar, but it's a nostalgic part of our cruise!
