Latest Blue Chip offer - what cabin category is being offered on Edge?

We cruised alot, mainly in Sky Suites and spent a ton on shore excursions through Celebrity before COVID.  We cancelled 5 cruises when COVID descended.  I am a lowly Pearl, but I suspect there is underlying criteria on who gets the offers, and not random.  In my case, I suspect it is their way of getting us back on a cruise again.

I just  called and got through quickly. He said the Edge cruises are  sold out but I was able to book one on the Equinox. They are also limited I was told and may have a slight obstructed view. It is a 2C Veranda but I don't care. Just returned from 10 days on the Silhouette and have 10 days on Equinox next month but I coudn't ignore a gift like this!

When you booked with the BCC offer, do you have to pay anything at time of booking.  Also they show three choices for sailings.  Do you get your first choice.  Can you do cruise air with X?

I got my first choice twice and my second choice once.  I had two other offers.  One is still valid for booking.

You owe taxes and port fees.   It says they can be paid later but I paid right away.

You can do cruise air with X.

I was able to book two cabins on the Edge 10 day about an hour ago. Not many regular veranda cabins left on any deck, on the entire ship. I didn't ask if I could upgrade to concierge or aqua but maybe will call back and ask.

We are just Pearl level on the BC offers and we have revived 4 so far. We are leaving soon on the first offer sailing that we have booked. This week we booked offer for

10 night edge. We got sunset balcony for April sailing for last offer no extra charges

Pick out some sailings and call them, in addition to booking it right there and then its the only way you can determine if you qualify for $10/night aquaclass.  You can book flight by celebrity but because they charge a $200 change/cancel fee (after final payment), I prefer to book directly with the airline who don't charge fees (unless you book basic economy)

Hi. Pretty new to Celebrity (two sailings so far). Doubt I qualify for an Aqua Class upgrade, but curious: How does it work? I’m in an IV cabin in May (cruise only). (Called BCC and they set it up. I have never received an email or paper offer but just completed my second sailing Nov. 13 so maybe it’s too early? Or maybe like some people have reported I’ll never receive offers by mail or email.) If one qualifies, does that upgrade entail a room change? I’m also not sure what benefits Aqua Class confers (Blu, the spa?). Thanks for any insight.

I just booked through BCC this afternoon for the 10-day cruise on the Edge.  I got an Infinite Veranda on Deck 8. I was told I didn't qualify for an upgrade even though there was a box I could check that asked if I would like to upgrade for a small fee. I was wondering, does anyone know if they provide free drinks while you gamble?  I thought I had seen that as a perk but can't find it now.

You would need to call to determine if you qualify for AQ, you get additional amenities plus a room change.

everyone gets free drinks while playing, regardless if it’s a comped room or not

So I filled out the form from the email and put in my three choices yesterday.  Is it better to call them or should I wait for them to call me.

I would call if you have your heart set on a particular sailing.  If you wait for them to call, your top sailing choices may be gone depending on how their system worked.

100% agree…There’s only a certain amount of rooms released to the bcc, furthermore if you use the online request form, they’ll pick the sailing and stateroom.  And again, only way for sure to see if you qualify for the AQ upgrade is to call.

Yes definitely call as soon as you get email to get best selection.   First time i ever received an BCC email, i filled in the form and than waited and waited but never got a call.   After a week I phoned the 1 800 number and did my booking and paid my taxes at the same time.    Since then when I get a BCC comp, i call and do my booking that way.   I have two such bookings on the go now

So how does one sign up for the Blue Chip Club?  On the ship?  Can you sign up before?

Once you play at the ship's casino where you use your SeaPass card to identify yourself, you are automatically enrolled.  Here is more information on the Blue Chip Club: link

Are their tiers and do they tier match other casinos?

Yes there are tiers and you need to gamble a lot to get anywhere.  They have a partnership with the MGM but X won't let you "double dip" anymore, you have to pick MGM benefits or X benefits

I don't think Blue Chip Club tiers (link) are matched by other casinos.  However your Captains Club level does give you status at all MGM Resorts casinos.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info.  I was able to book the Edge for the date I wanted and paid for it.  Earlier today I booked (with no payment).  She did not have the date I wanted but I booked it to not lose the free cruise.  This afternoon when I called to book the date of my choice, there were quite a few he gave me to choose from.  If at first you do not get what you want, call again. This is our first free cruise.  We are Pearl and really do not gamble that much.

Now to get insurance and air fare from Newark or Philly to FLL.

does anyone have a direct contact number for Blue Chip?

we have a BC cruise in a few weeks and I am looking at upgrade options - which I discussed with the BC rep when I first made the reservation.  He said try closer to sail date

Tried going through the regular number and being transferred but the hold time was over 30 minutes with no pickup.  I tried email a few days ago with no reply.
