No seafood - best place to eat in Galveston?

Perhaps a place with a nice view or even just a cool atmosphere?  If not, just good food would be great!  We don’t like seafood.  (Weird I know) 🥴

We live on the coast in Alabama and have plenty of great fresh caught seafood (that we enjoy) here all year.  So when we travel we're not looking for more fresh seafood.  Our restaurant of choice in Galveston is Miller's Seawall Grill.  They serve great seafood as well as a myriad of non seafood selections.  For breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't miss.  You can see their menu here.

The Spot, Old Moon Deli, Mario's on Seawall, LaKing's for sweets, and there are many Landry's properties in Galveston as it is where Landry's was founded. Brick House and Fisherman's Wharf just to name a couple.

For food the Cajun Greek is outstanding, but not much of a view.  Woody's Bar no food, but fun place for a drink right on the beach.

Appreciate the recommendation. Based on just the name I would have overlooked it.

For brunch/lunch the Sunflower cafe would be a good option. Their address is 512 14th Street in Galveston.

Tillman isn't part of the Maceo family except by marriage. I believe his great aunt was married to a Maceo. That being said, we know how those mafia "families" worked. Although, the Texas Italians weren't at the same level as those in New York, Chicago, etc.

Miller's is outstanding for breakfast.  Original Mexican is great if you want a good Tex-Mex meal.  The Spot has good burgers.  Cajun Greek is also wonderful Med cuisine.

Depends on what you are up for! There are plenty of good restaurants in Galveston. Check out Galveston.com

I'll second Sunflower Café! I absolutely love starting embarkation day with one of their amazing cinnamon rolls. Their breakfasts are fantastic!
