When's the captain's welcome party?

I ask because our CC group (Silhouette, April 20, TA) is planning a number of get-togethers and we don't want to clash with the Skipper's welcome do.

So, about what time on what day (our first 2 days are sea days) and where on board, please can we expect this, please?

Afraid there is no pattern of dates.

In fact the last 2 we have attended have been split up, as they were trying to avoid large gatherings. On was actually held outside, but the weather helped -45 degrees + in the Mediterranean last August.

Usually on the second day, sometimes the third.

on our most recent cruises ( 2023) it was first sea day at 12:30

On my most recent cruises the party was held on the second Sea day or the third sea day, at 12:15.  Both were held on the lawn on Equinox.

Last sailing on Edge it was listed on the program that outlined the tier benefits.

You should receive a sheet of paper in your state room on embarkation day listing all the Captains Club events that your tier is eligible to attend. Generally they do not put the Captains Club events on the app or in the daily program so keep that paper for reference.

It will be in the App.  Also if the CC one you will get a CC list of events with dates and time in your room.

The Captain’s Club events (breakfast, Captain’s toast, Music and Mixology, etc) were only on the printed invitation sheet, not on the app, on our recent cruises

Never in the App as not all passengers are invited

What are we missing?  In all of our years cruising (30 years plus) we have never gone to anything where large crowds are gathered (I have social anxiety).  
 

Wondering if we stood near an exit if I should try it?
