looking forward to a suite

we have cruised several times with RC and love it. we are booked in a Grand Suite for the FIRST TIME on Adventure of the seas! I want to take full advantage of any perks and special things we should know. any tips or advice would be appreciated! we leave on 5/4 out of Ft. Lauderdale.

I made heavy use of the Suite lounge during happy hour. Have a drink. Take a drink to dinner. Come back for after dinner drinks. Great times..Use your concierge.  They can do a lot for you.

One of the best perks was breakfast in Chops.  Every morning starts so much more civilized that fighting the madding crowds in the Windjammer.

what can the concierge do for you? how long is the suite lounge open?

He handled all our reservations. I had an issue for the life of me i cant remember now. Told him about it and he handled it flawlessly. You do not need to ever go to guest services. Use your concierge for any of that. And at the end of the cruise he will lock off an elevator just for suites.

No just show up in the morning.  I think it was available until 10 am... You will get a letter in suite from the concierge that will explain it all.

 

Also, I should have doubled down on what @dwayneb236 said about Happy hour.  It is a valuable perk if you don't have the drink package.  If you do it is still a nice spot to meet and have a few appy's before dinner. Suite lounge is open all day and has a nice fancy coffee maker that you can get latte's and cappuccino's from.  The Happy hour for free drinks is 5pm to 8pm. That is when the appy's are available.  There is also a light continental breakfast available in the morning if you don't want to go to Chops.

 

Another nice perk is being escorted off the ship at debarkation.  Your Concierge will escort you off the ship and you walk on past the big line waiting to get off the ship.

Varies by port day (earlier) vs. sea day (later)

Some ports do have a suite line I believe. it is stated you can arrive one hour before your alotted arrival time.

Yes. The concierge will have a few windows for priority disembarkation.

Yes, but you still need to do your online check-in 45 days before.  I believe you can arrive up to an hour before your check in time.

It’s breakfast in Giovanni’s on Adv now, but same difference.. 😉

Thanks, my only experience has been on other ships.  I thought it was universally Chops, good to know.

I've never had a suite breakfast anywhere but Chops, but I know they do let Giovanni have a turn once in a while on some ships.

Yes they will have a suite checkin line once past security. You can arrive up to an hour in advance of your checkin time if you don't get an early checkin time.

Is the suite breakfast different than the one in the dining room?  Different or more extensive menu?

 

We loved the one they serve on Norwegian's Haven.  Breakfast and a buffet area too.
