Good luck, Graham.  Have a great cruise….and let us know how you like the ship.  We are considering MSC after we make Pinnacle.

Thanks Raye,

We will have to make sure we sail the same Royal ship and make pinnacle at same time

2025 we may achieve 🍍

MSC yacht club on all the ones we have been on, I know you and Dan would like

and casinos are huge and the comps are good 👍🏻

Please let us know when you will Turn.  We would like to be there.  Ours will be 10-13-23 on Mariner.

they can check their luggage and there will be a shuttle to the Bayside Marketplace so they can get lunch and $20/pp will be put on their onboard account to cover lunch

Is RCL doing this, too? I know Carnival had texted this to their folks.

Good cruise to turn on - Bermuda should be really nice in October - we are on that one as well (second leg of a B2B)

How was it poor taste? I'm not laughing at this tragic situation. What I'm saying is - every other day we see threads from people asking if incredibly tight travel times are possible, and my point is, rare delays like this DO happen.  No one is getting angry at the authorities or the victims.

So why didn’t you ask the same question but about a noon or 2 pm flight?  What do you think happened to those folks?  Not the time to make a point about early flights because this would’ve impacted any flight that day.  So your point is a poor one and thus also in poor taste.

You’re the sort of person who books a 9am flight aren’t you? 😂

Nice way to deflect from the thoughtlessness of your comment. For what it is worth I drive and I wouldn’t complain if I did miss a flight.  Preach to others about early flights and do it on a day when the early time would’ve actually mattered and people didn’t die to cause the delay.  Your comment was ridiculous because late flight or early, people were impacted.  Grow up already and understand context.

People can be sympathetic about the death of a person unknown to them and be concerned about how they are going to get home.

Humans are fully capable of emotional multi-tasking.

It was a snarky comment and they were hoping for attention and a laugh.  Are you suggesting it wasn’t?   What does 9am have anything to do with it?   Is the person with the noon flight betting off in this scenario?   Hence, context.  Are the folks facing hours delay boarding or getting him dealing with a PITA situation.  Of course they are.  But let’s make a 9 am flight joke.  What next a joke about pulling one day of tips?

They can say what they want.  But in my opinion that low hanging fruit of a bad joke is tasteless given the long delay, the disruption caused to so many, and the deaths of some.

Back to the point, please!   Are all 3 ships in port now?   Anyone know what time they will sail?

Still there, watching live cam. Carnival didnt park until after 5pm EST and at that time had hundreds(1000's?) on her Balconies so no Cleaning even started yet

Actually from what I read on the Carnival boards - Carnival was proactive and already refunded one day of grats, drink packages, etc.
