Moving booking to Travel Agent

Recommended Posts

I used to do this all the time for the TA’s perks. I would hold sailings via HAL’s regular phone reps, and that would give me a few days (usually) to work out my airline tickets, etc. Then when I was ready, my TA would call the department at HAL (it has “World” in its name) and within a few minutes they had it transferred to the TA (it seems like I may have been part of the call at some point).

Good luck!

DH and I booked direct with the $1 deposit and got a good deal with HAL.  Our booking was well past the 60 days to my transfer when my TA  when they had a fantastic deal during Labor Day.  We cancelled the booking with HAL and rebooked with my TA. We lost the $2 deposit, but came out way ahead with TA!
