Fur coat and no knickers

I don't know about cherry - a Negroni is one third gin, one third Campari and one third Martini Rosso.  Delicious, but pretty strong.  I also like one with some soda or tonic in, a longer drink, which the Americans call an Americano - not to be confused with the coffee.

I tried one of those in the 710 Club on Iona because you raved about them. 🤮😂

It's not normally my thing but I've somehow acquired a taste for them now!!

Lol

They normally come with a sliver of chocolate in them as well!

Which helps!! As I'm a chocoholic!

I love the negronis they make in 710 club

Think they are dark cherry flavour (or something like that)

Can't not have one of them when I'm in there.

It's my tradition now. I can make it last for the whole show though so that's one good thing!

Then head off to the theatre or for a late meal if we've not already eaten

Did you have the willpower to save the chocolate stirrer until last though?

Somehow I'm in that room, the jazz is playing, it's a strong cocktail I wouldn't normally like, but the lights are low and I just feel a touch of class

And the negroni helps I think!

Small sips at a time!!

I feel like I'm there now!!

Lol I'm off to quickly eat some dairy milk!

Not a chance

Is that what  it's for???

Lol

Well, I couldn't work out at first if it was a straw or stirrer.  After trying to suck up my drink through it, I reasoned it must be the latter.

14x (54.95-10%) is £692.30.  So if you are going on a 14 night cruise yes it’s 10% discount, plus the loyalty discount on top to follow as you say.

I supposed that technically as the offer expires before departure date it could be deemed to be limited.  The email is certainly disingenuous but probably not quite false advertising.

I could buy a fur coat for that sort of money lol

What just a fur coat? No knickers?!,

The taste of palm oil is very much to the fore in all Cadburys chocolate nowadays, something else we have to ‘thank’ the Americans for.

So very true - everything they get their hands on is cheapened and ruined.  At least we still have alternatives to brands like Hershey's, notorious for tasting of vomit!

No longer buy Cadbury chocolate, partly because they seemed to have added wheat to their recipe, which means my OH can’t eat it.

Apparently Mars own Whiskas, hopefully they hever mix the recipes up. 🤮

Cadbury says that Dairy milk no longer contains palm oil, as of march 2023.

I am into Toblerone at present, sainsbury are selling the big bars at £3.50 with a nectar card. Toblerone is also owned by Mondelez, and also says it does not contain palm oil

Also I have a question for those guests who don't like the big ships?

On the smaller ships I assume:

There aren't any favourite areas to sunbathe?

Nobody gets up early to choose their favourite sunbeds?

Andy nobody saves sunbed with towels?

It's some kind of perfect utopian world on these ships?

Yes to all of the above, however the smaller ships have roughly the same number of sun decks (and other facilities for that matter) but only two or three decks of cabins, with around 1800 passengers.

The big ships have 5 or 6 decks of cabins with 4x the number of passengers.

So if you can't get a primary spot, at least you'll get a sunbed somewhere, unlike on our trip on Arvia in May this year.
