Some are small,some are big ,some have machines that work, etc. Enjoy the Regal, I’ve been on it once. Maybe they can bring some sort of air freshener ,but that may not help because I remember you saying that perfume bothers you. Rare YVRteacher Posted July 26 Author #1361 Share Posted July 26 The casino opens up into the atrium so there is no ceiling to contain the smoke (I originally posted a different picture then realized there were people gambling that may not wish to be showcased on CC so I retook the photo.) Complaining isn’t going to help so I will avoid the piazza and still have a great trip. I just went to the evening show in the theatre. I told myself to give it a chance even though I thought it wouldn’t be my thing. What a great show!! My cabin stinks. Literally. Yes, that is a downside (big one) about the casino. We just avoided the area for the most part. The music thing is very annoying, but it wasn't too bad for our cruise. I really don’t understand why they allow this, and I have seen people “hanging around” in there smoking and not gambling and basically just taking advantage if an indoor place to smoke. I agree about the Piazza. It has become our least favourite place on Princess ships. They’ve made it the hub of activities, it’s noisy and generally crowded full of people coughing. Ugh. I hate noise and generally just want somewhere quiet to read my book. This is becoming harder and harder to find on all lines. Even unused rooms seem to have to have a music track playing. And for the smell in your room, if they can't move you, they can do a deep clean and use odor neutralizing agents. If you don't they could try to say that it was fine when you came in and "must have smoked" in the room and try to charge you for clean up. Love, love, love your reviews. I hope you are not feeling let down on your second leg, since your first cruise was so perfect. Post Covid, DH & I were on the Regal in March of 2023 and on the Sky’s New Year’s Eve cruise at the start of 2024. I definitely agree with you about the constant noise in the Piazza. On the Regal, We were trying to resolve an issue at the Photo Gallery which is located right off it. We had to practically yell to be heard. Also agree with you about smoking in the casino. DH spends a fair amount of time in there, and he swears people were just hanging out smoking on the Sky. I don’t know if it was because the cruise was over New Years, but the smoke in the casino was fierce. Have a great second cruise. Travel safe. Edited July 26 by phonejock Left out a word.
