Dress question (for the ladies)

Okay, being a newbie here, is it acceptable on the formal nights to wear nice shoes without pantyhose, or are pantyhose a must? (just wondering if I need to pack an extra pair of shoes......)

Last two cruises I brought the panty hose and never wore them. Either it was too hot, or my legs were too sunburned. Nobody noticed and a saw a lot of woman without panty hose. You won't look out of place.

If your dress is long enough just wear knee highs, the only reason I wear them are my dress shoes are more comfortable then with bare feet

Pantyhose are sooooo out! You're in the Caribbean! Pantyhose are not really necessary in that hot climate, even if they were still in fashion! Don't bring them!

I don't wear hose with my formals. I wear nice open toed shoes which would probably look horrible with hose.

please no pantyhose! It should be outlawed because it is terribly uncomfortable and hot! Just put a nice self tanner on your legs and you'll look great :)

I refuse to wear pantyhose. I have used Sally Hanson's spray on hose. It's nice in a pinch. I detest pantyhose and will not wear them. Plus the MS makes it too hard to get them on. At least that's my excuse.

I agree with the other ladies...NO HOSE!! :D I never wear hose, not with my gown on formal nights and not with skirts on smart casual nights!! Hose are way tooooo HOT even though I could use the "control top" by day 2 of the cruise!! ;) :p

I don't wear hose, and I wouldn't wear hose with wedding dress either! Hose is out and will age you ten years.

I highly suggest them to anyone! I wear my regular Spanx everyday...avoids pantylines, etc. I also have the "Slim Cognito" I wear under my cocktail dresses, etc. Totally worth the money!
