Need One Night in Miami between two cruises

Trying to find a hotel/motel in Miami near the port for one night. Trying to co-ordinate one cruise with another one out of POM. But I need one night in Miami between the cruises to make this work. Any ideas? Looking for something inexpensive within walking distance to restaurants. Thanks in advance.

What dates? :confused: The same room that is $300+ in Feb can be under $100 in August.

In downtown Miami, close to POM, also look at the Hampton Inn Mary Brickell Village plus the Doubletree and next door Marriott.

In all depends on what time of year you are talking about down here. There are lots of options in all different prices!

Inexpensive in Miami is subjective. That hotel room in middle American that is $59 a night is double that in off season in Miami.

Take a look at Intercontinental, Marriott Marquis, Holiday Inn Bayside, Hampton Inn. They are all within a 10 minute ride from the pier and about 1 to 2 miles distance.

I would go for the Holiday Inn Port of Miami, it is directly across from the

http://www.baysidemarketplace.com/ which is great for shops, many restaurants, all set around a marina. The taxi from/to port shouldn't be more than $10.
