In the past year I have seen commercials on TV for Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess.

Trapshooting? I'd love to do that onboard.

I remember there was skeet shooting on my first couple of cruises (mid 90s). I had no interest in trying it.

I had worked at the ad agency that handled Princess in the early to mid 80s but I didn't work on the account til about my last year or so...and that was on the print side (I did overflow from one of my peers so it wasn't one of my regular accounts). I think they were starting to do more livelier (maybe the Love Boat) commercials by then.

I have seen a Disney cruise commercial a few times the last month or so. Mostly any TV ads have been for Carnival or Royal, and the "Come Back New" Princess spots earlier this year.

OMG, so old fashioned! I'm glad the dress isn't so formal anymore, especially in the daytime. Can you imagine how many suitcases you'd need? I think on our first cruise (1989) we took 3 suitcases each. Now I travel with a carryon!

Cool stuff. But I doubt that these were produced as TV commercials. Not really in the right style and way too long. More like promotional videos for industry use. Maybe Travel Agent training.

I noticed that they showed twin beds in the for the couples. Wish they would bring back trap shooting also.
