  1. special_needs@rccl.com You can also try this email. I've use it and they responded with an email.
  2. You can fill out a form requesting the distilled water and an extension cord on the Celebrity website prior to your cruise and the supplies are usually waiting in your cabin. Guest Special Needs Form https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/CEL-Special-Needs-Form.pdf
  3. I agree that flying the day of embarkation is not our preference. However, 5 years ago we had a situation where we needed to fly from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale the morning of sailing. We had a 6 am flight with a connection in Cincinnati. Chicago flight had a light out in the restroom which resulted in a 1.5 hour delay. Missed connection. Missed sailing. By the time we got to FLL Celebrity Air had emailed us instructions to cab to Miami, reservations at the Sheridan, tickets to Grand Cayman, and reservations at a resort in GC for 2 days until the ship arrived. They covered the entire cost. Thus we are fans of Celeb Air. Do wish we could book using air miles.
  4. I believe MDR is open for breakfast daily (we overnighted in Bermuda and it was open) but only for lunch on sea days.
  5. Just off the Summit May 15. Breakfast was served plated in the Tuscan grill. We're not big breakfast eaters so the lighter fare was fine for us. Also if we chose to sleep in or chill til later in the morning it was just right to hold us til lunch in the MDR.
  6. We were on the Summit May 5-15. Each evening the shows were at 7 & 9 regardless if they were production shows or individual entertainment. On a few occasions there were also encore shows at 10:15 (adult comedy) and mid afternoon shows on sea days.
  7. We had 6240 on our B2B in March. Loved it. Yes, it was larger and I believe even larger than when we had 6242. We had 6238 once and we felt we were like way back in a tunnel. All are angled balconies. We like the bed near the balcony to recline and relax while watching out.
  8. We did a B2B on the Silhouette in March. Not exactly sure what you mean by "pop-up sale". They did have special sales when they discounted merchandise and pulled it out into the walkways on deck 4. And yes, Clinique products were sold up on deck 5.
  9. We'll be joining the Summit May 6 out of Cape Liberty. So am reading your review with great interest. Thank you for taking the time to share. I sure hope some if the water and pool issues you encountered will be fixed. Our sailing is listed as "Sold Out" thus a larger strain on the systems.
  10. We were on the Silhouette 3 times in a year (2 Caribbean, 1 Baltic). Love her vibe and especially the spaces up top by the Sunset bar and open areas. Our experiences were always positive from dining to cabin to crew friendliness. You know you've cruised too often when the bar tender at the Passport Bar greats you first day with a smile and asks if you want your usual drink including special brand of liquor! We will be back on the Silhouette in August on an Iceland/Ireland/England cruise. We also did one Caribbean on the Equinox last year. She was also good and we had no issues. No complaints from us. The top deck had not been renovated like the Silhouette so seating was often hard to find. She had more than twice the passengers then our first two Silhouette cruises so lines did tend to form and there were waits for elevators, but that is to be expected as ships begin to fill again. Whichever ship you choose. Enjoy!
  11. We enjoy 6:00 happy hour, 7:00 show followed by 7:45-8:00 dinner. Then on to night time fun!!! I make reservation on the website 2-3 months ahead.
  12. My question is how do you make a bid on a second cabin category? I have a bid in on a veranda. When I go in to make a second bid for a Concierge my options are to "Cancel" or "Modify" my current bid. I don't want to do either, just a a new bid. Thanks for your help
  13. Deck 3 was one of our favorite places when we were doing ocean view cabins. Close to the Passport bar to grab a drink for the room, near Guest Services, fun to join the Grand Foyer when there was entertainment and close to elevators in both directions. We were never bothered by noises.
  14. Goodness. This seems like it.is all over the board. We did a B2B on the Silhouette Feb.9-23. We had lobster on both sailings (even the 4 day). I'm pretty sure I saw prime rib but did not have it. Some commented on lack of shrimp. I'm a shrimp lover and several times asked for additional shrimp when ordering and my meal always came with plenty. No complaints on the food but maybe I'm just gratfeul to be sailing.
  15. We just completed a B2B on the Silhouette (2/23/23). We did not receive a survey on either cruise until I searched my husband's junk email. I have no idea why they were there as all correspondence and the multiple emails from Celebrity go to our shared email account. So check your junk box.
  16. Sailed the Silhouette twice last year and have 3 scheduled this year (including 2 staring in 6 days). Do we like her???!!! She is or favorite in the fleet. As others mentioned the All Inclusive package is your best bet as drinks are expensive (hard to find much under $10 and 18% grats) and you'll spend at least $30/day. There is always plenty of entertainment aboard plus nightly shows. No water slides and few kids.
  17. Thank you for your review. We haven't been on her since last June for the Baltic out of Southampton. Service was great and food a plenty but we only had 900 passengers. We board her for a B2B Feb. 9 with the second cruise sold out. So we may experience staffing issues in bars and dining as you did. Welcome back to the Not-So-Good Old Days of full ships and lines. We did a 23 day Viking on the Med last fall. There was never waiting for drinks or food anywhere on the ship. Top notch operation.
  18. The best and elegant Afternoon tea is on Viking Ocean. Over 40 types of tea offered, a tower of sandwiches and sweets brought to your table, warm scones are served, as well as various cocktails, plus a live string quartet or some other live music!!! Now that's an elegant High Tea and it's attended by hundreds.
  19. I went crazy for about 15 min (nothing on TV) on the first photo last night. Could not find the "X" like in the example. Not a fun adventure. I have better uses for my time.
  20. I booked Tuscan Grill for $58 for the two of us in Nov. of 2021 for our Feb. 2023 on the Silhouette. At that time they were not adding the 18% grats to my checkout. Do you think they will add the grats once we are on ship or will we be "grandfathered in" with no additional grats? Anyone experienced this?
  21. We sailed the Silhouette out of Southampton last June to the Baltic. Our 3 pre-cruise days in London were spent at the Point A hotel Westminster. Great location for public transportation, 15 min walk to "The Eye", and plenty of food options, but very small room. We took the tube from LHR to a station across the street from the hotel. It was a 7 minute walk to Waterloo Station for the 2+ hr $12 train ride to Southampton. Once in Southampton a $7 cab ride to the Holiday Inn. We walked across the street to the ship in the morning. We used Celebrity transportation back to LHR as we had extra OBC and didn't want to risk missing our flight. We will be stay at the Holiday Inn again this Aug. pre-Iceland cruise.
  22. You can basically order anything to your liking (but not top shelf) and it will be served. We love our Brandy Old Fashions before dinner usually in the Passport, Martini, Sunset, or Ensemble Longe. You can start at 5pm and continue to 7. There is no limit except for your own personal limit! 🤪!!!
  23. I just signed up yesterday for GO GREEN for our 3 upcoming cruises. We have used it 4 times before and found the service perfect for us. We hope they keep the program.
  24. Sounds like wonderful plan. Especially when combined with Elite Happy Hour, Elite breakfast, captain's party, and free casino drinks. Bet it doesn't last as too many people will jump on it.
