  1. Yes, everyone in a room and on linked reservations must get the same package (minors must get the Minors package) according to the Terms linked below. Terms & Conditions Beverage packages are not transferrable and may not be shared with other guests. Valid for one beverage only per order. Violation of these terms may result in cancellation of a guest's package without eligibility for a refund or credit of any kind. Availability of Drink packages and prices may vary per sailing. Packages are sold on a per cruise basis and not a per day or any other basis. Pricing applies to each day of the cruise, except for disembarkation day. Once activated on board, packages cannot be terminated or refunded. Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin, and who are traveling together and wishing to dine at the same table. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants under three years of age. The following exclusions apply; tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar, room service, promotions, and signature venues, including Venchi 1878 establishments, Lavazza Coffee Shops, Jean Philippe Chocolate, Coffee, Crepes & Gelato, regardless of beverage price. Must be of legal age to consume alcohol. See the terms of our Guest Alcohol Policy for more information. Beverages and liquors may be substituted based on availability and itinerary. Other conditions & terms may apply.
  2. I think I saw hot chocolate packets in the buffet on our Oct cruise. Not sure if they were there all the time.
  3. It's not always the same right now. We left from one terminal and came back to another in Oct. So the ship and date are important to know. It should be on your final paperwork. Plus there will be signs when you get to the port (not to mention the ship).
  4. Yes, do both you and your wife. When you book, you need to have one Voyager Club number entered to get the discount pricing. However, in order for both of you to get OBC when you're eligible, you both need to have your VC number on the booking. This won't matter for last minute bookings, but for everything booked 9+ months in advance at Silver and above, you would typically both get some OBC.
  5. I was able to get my CC info entered ahead of time for my cruise last Oct once final payment was made. It just didn't keep it for my spouse/the second person in the cabin and I had to re-enter that after I was on board. So far it hasn't let me for my March cruise, but I will try again next week and see if it takes it.
  6. I wouldn't expect a burger at dinner to be a significant issue since they have burgers on the lunch menu every day. For something that may not be quite as easy or less available, you may want to ask them ahead of time. Also, most days there will also be a YC buffet set up outside by the bar and grill area of the YC pool. So that's another option if you don't want to eat in the restaurant each night.

    Champagne

My understanding is that no wine, champagne, or alcohol allowed to be brought on board. They do search at embarkation and confiscate if found. You can buy champagne on board, and MSC has several different drink packages available at time of booking, pre-cruise, and once on board.
  8. When entering address, you don't enter the city or state, just the zip code. Some people have trouble with this piece. If you can't get credit card info to be accepted, you can do it via kiosks on board the ship or via the app once on board. Just double-check that you had it entered/applied to both passengers in a room. You may also need to call to get the Voyager Club Numbers added for all passengers your booking. This can impact OBC.
  9. Right. Totally understand this. After our experience, I would no longer believe them that anything not on my docs will show up on board. That's not true and doesn't happen.

    Wristband

You don't buy them. But they didn't collect them from us when we left. So far, no place I've been that uses wrist bands has re-used them. They always issue new ones.
  11. No, I booked a 2024 cruise online on Dec 27th and the OBC is showing up on the booking confirmation PDF. You have to make sure that your Voyager Number is associated with your booking for both you and the other person on the reservation. That's where I always have the issue. I have to call the day after I book to have them add the booking number for the second person on the reservation. I haven't found a way yet to add it myself online for the second person - I can edit almost everything else but this.
  12. They probably wont change it unless both adults switch since all adults on the same room/reservation must have the same drink package. I don't know about most MSC cruises, but when we took the Seashore in October, soft serve was only available from 3:30-5:00 at a back corner buffet dessert station, and it was available to everyone at no charge. There was scooped ice cream by the jungle pool in the afternoons that I never checked out. I think there was a charge but I'm not sure, or it could have been included with the soda package for minors. And there was Gelato in the shops area for a fee.
  13. I believe it's going to be the items that you can pre-book (and pre-pay) when you go to the MSC site and Manage Booking/Plan My Cruise under the Spa & Beauty option. I imagine the offerings and prices may vary from ship to ship or cruise to cruise somewhat, but these are the options currently showing for my next cruise: Thermal Area Cruise Pass - $130 Traditional Balinese Massage - 50 min $119 Bali Massage with Hot Lava Stones - 50 Min $124 Spa Manicure and Pedicure - $116 Personal Trainer Program - $225 * Thermal Area access for the duration of the cruise * 1 Body Composition Analyser session * 3 Personal trainer sessions - 1 hour each * Personalised consultation with fitness trainers for best results I think you do get other offers and discounts on board based on your Voyager Club level or being in the Yacht Club.
  14. I did see someone getting extension cords from guest services for this purpose on our last cruise. It's a little surprising to me not to have at least one regular outlet and one USB by the bed(s). These posts are helpful because overall it sounds like things are gradually improving on the Seascape vs some of the reviews from the first couple cruises.
  15. My embarkation time changed multiple times in the two weeks before embarkation, with the last one being like 3:00. I just printed the page with the earliest embarkation time (11:00) to bring with me. They never checked when we boarded in Miami. Also, YC has it's own priority boarding. And once inside the terminal, there should be a separate shorter line for Aurea Suite priority boarding, although it may not be labelled and they will try to push you into the general line unless you ask/point out that you are an Aurea Suite. Not sure why they gave us a 3:00 boarding time for Aurea Suite when it's supposed to have priority boarding. We boarded at 11:00 with no problem and got right on the ship.
  16. They won't show the drink package or internet included there. But it does show up on your booking documentation and boarding pass documentation. February 2024 is probably too far out for other items to start showing up, I would check back with less than an year and probably more like 9 months out. I have a March 2024 reservation and nothing shows up for that one online yet either.
  17. Have you created an online account on the MSC site and linked your reservation to it by booking number? Once you do that you can get your passenger information and travel credentials entered and book excursions, spa services, drink packages, and specialty dining packages online. Not sure about the dining time. You may need to call for that.
  18. MSC Special Diets and Menus Gluten-Free Cuisine: MSC Cruises has obtained a certification from Bureau Veritas to provide gluten-free menus (food code <20 ppm*) worldwide in the main restaurants of MSC Grandiosa, MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Preziosa, MSC Divina, MSC Splendida, MSC Fantasia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Poesia, MSC Orchestra and MSC Musica. I take this to mean that the pizza and other food at the buffet would not be gluten free.
  19. The impression I have is that it's almost always the starboard side facing the island. The ship usually comes in early morning with the port side facing the island, then spins around before it docks so that it can head straight back out the way it came when it's time to leave. The deep water channel doesn't continue on past the island, so the ship has to turn around to head back out.
  20. In the US, you can view Building Paradise Island on demand on the free streaming service TUBI. It was produced by National Geographic, but it doesn't currently show up as available content for that channel, at least from the service I have for cable channels.
  21. Yes, it took a few weeks, but we did get a pro-rated refund plus more for the inconvenience. MSC made it right in the end. It was just a very frustrating experience with lots of wasted time and energy. MSC not only needs to fix this upgrade bid process, but they need to work to improve their overall customer service, as well as finding a way to promptly address issues that are impacting a current cruise rather than it taking days - there should have been a quick and easy way to verify and correct this promptly.
  22. A note of caution about the MSC upgrade bid process. We won our bid and were only notified just 3 days before the cruise. It wasn't much of a deal either given the high starting bid required. We never got the promised updated paperwork even though we called and our CC was charged immediately. We were told it would be taken care of at check-in at the port (not true). They knew nothing about it at the port or on the ship. We wasted a lot of time standing in line for customer service on the ship only for them to keep saying that they sent it to corporate for research and then fail to give us any updates. We ended up in the room we originally booked, and it was halfway through the cruise before they confirmed we should have been upgraded and got moved. According the Yacht Club Director he'd never before been told to move someone after boarding occurred even though he admitted this problem had been happening for months. Another Yacht Club cruiser confirmed this situation, and several other people in line with us for customer service immediately after boarding also had similar upgrade problems. Maybe it's finally been addressed in the last 2 months, but just be aware that MSC has had significant issues getting things updated as part of their upgrade bid process. In our case we did get the upgrade for half the cruise and (eventually) a refund as well, so MSC did take care of it in the end.
  23. Coffee, Tea, Iced Tea, Milk, Juice (breakfast only), and ship's water. The juice seemed to vary at the buffet. Usually there were 3 choices. I always saw orange juice, but the others varied, cranberry, apple, pineapple, and some kind of citrus concoction. There may have been others because I didn't have breakfast at the buffet every day.
  24. We have a cruise like this coming up with an overnight at Ocean Cay. Is there anything happening on the island the next morning? Do they serve breakfast or anything? Or is it just a chance for people to hit the beach in the morning before the ship leaves at around noon?
