  1. That is also a sign you need a new one . A good one is definitely not limited to office hours Cheers
  2. This is the description off the web . More Specific Routes are at Arubus.com . You should be able to find everything there , but they cover most of the island I believe "The busses on the island belong to Arubus, the major public transportation company owned by the Government of Aruba. Aruba bus routes cover almost the entire island and stop at all hotels. If you want to see the exact routes or the full Aruba bus map, check out the website of Arubus. There is bus service every 15 minutes from 5:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.; buses then run every 40 minutes until 11:30 p.m. The central bus station in downtown Oranjestad is located adjacent to the cruise terminal and next to Royal Plaza. Would you like to know what time the bus pays your stop a visit? The website of Arubus shows you the route and the Aruba bus schedule for each route. The Aruba bus stops are easy to find. There is a visible sign on the side of the bus. For instance the stop at your hotel will display the hotel and town that each individual bus is in route too " Cheers
  3. I call B.S. Why would they ban him from sailing ? Maybe banned from the casino would make sense ... What's he gonna do , count the baloons in the drop and try to win a bet against some unsuspecting Pinnacle ?
  4. That one made me laugh I'm loving your self awareness and honesty ! Cheers
  5. ...You are joking with this right ? The asparagus comment that is ..
  6. Wow . For my sailings in February it is still listed at $211
  7. I have been to many of them , and never have they scanned passes . They have simply made the announcement and stress that if you are under 18 , this is not for you . Therefore found it strange . Cheers
  8. Just Curious , In 20+ years cruising , Is it your belief that everyone of those servers ( and I know the service is usually quite adequate ) ,but do you believe they all deserved absolute top scores ? ... Or are you like me and the guilt/compassion is what truly guides your score . Though I have been guilty of this in the past , I will no longer . If the service warrants a 10 it will receive a 10 , but if it doesn't I will no longer score with my heart . I believe this makes for a flawed system , and I am not falling into the trap anymore . Overall dining standards have fallen too far . Cheers
  9. Bingo I have spent too much Vacation time over my past few cruises getting dining errors fixed . You should be able to expect what you agreed to and not have to waste precious time dealing with the BS I realize I changed the subject from cleaning to dining but same concept . Cheers
  10. 100 % . I have also been cruising many years and this was the first and only time that I had heard this . It was quite unmistakable . I have always wondered what the right answer to the question was on the survey where they say "did anyone ask you for a positive review " , or something to that effect. I was always wondering if I get them in trouble if I mention it , but after hearing it over the P.A. I determined it is standard practice and now I'm wondering if they get in trouble if they don't Beg for their 10's. Cheers
  11. I'm up in the air on this one as we were leaving the windjammer and an announcement (over the loudspeaker ) comes on and asks that we give them a 10 .... If it were not acceptable , I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a public service announcement ! ? Cheers
  12. I met my room steward as soon as rooms were opened . Asked for evening , and she asked what time would work. As we had early dining at 5:30 told her 6 PM and she said that was good. 3rd night she walks in on me pretty much in the raw at 5:10 P.M. ...Side note , she did happen to be the worst steward I have encountered in 14 sailings. Cheers
  13. MTD on Royal is a disaster . Avoid it like the plague , especially if you like to dine early (ish) JMHO Also , If you can't get it switched pre cruise be sure and head directly to dining room as soon as you board and the "should"be able to accomodate you Cheers
  14. I had this happen 3 times in a row .Bring it to everyones attention possible , including Guest services. I always ended up getting a table ( night 2 on 1 of the 3 ) . MDR is operating like a $#!t $#0w Cheers
  15. I'll never turn down a slice if lookin for a quick grab , and most are just soso but I Had a barbecue chicken pizza on Harmony last month that was fantastic !
  16. Early hasn't started at 6 for ages , (due to the fact that they have completely messed up MTD ) It is usually 5-5:30 , ocassionally as late as 5:45
  17. I'm thinking it's likely he just isn't an assertive person. You just need to keep saying "more please " and I am certain they will keep piling on . You should see me with a pasta dish and the server coming around grating fresh parmesan on my plate . They tell me to say when , and then try to stop 3 times because they can't believe how much I want . Cheers
  18. $1 000 000 000 Profit with a 24% margin doesn't seem too bad !
  19. Exactly our timeline ! ...First ship Navigator Cheers
  20. Yes , the lounge is the last thing I care about . I just hope they don't decide at any point to come after those drinks . They may really have a fight on their hands then ! Cheers...And Cheers again.. and so on
  21. We were also on Harmony last month , and I would say 5 of the 7 nights we found something appealing on the menu . That being said ,that is proof of why they need the classics . Everyone has certain tastes that will likely limit them on a 7 night cruise as to whether they are gonna find something EVERY night that they will truly enjoy . Cheers
  22. Yeah , years ago when there were recommended gratuity guidelines , there was not a line for.... "öther hotel services" ...On the fence , but leaning in a new direction
