  1. We were in a concierge verandah cabin on Vista for 32 days and used the corner cabinet in the bathroom for storing lots of our clothes. This cabinet has upper shelves behind mirrors, counter top and several drawers down below. It also has a very large drawer the full length of the vanity for storing all of your bathroom items, There are also drawers in the nightstands, desk and shelves above the firdge and in the closet. If you google Concierge Verandah Oceania Vista, there are several videos giving you a great idea of the storage.
  2. Good to know - must be new...we used our OBC when we upgraded onboard so not a big deal
  3. Yes - they have a printer available for guest to use. They also are very helpful with using your phones, IPads, laptops with their WIFI. They have several different classes available to sign up for (free) to improve your skills.
  4. At this time you must wait until your onboard to upgrade ( and it is $30.00 pp per day) and both people in a cabin do not have to upgrade. It is a quick process once onboard, just go to guest services and they will add the cost to your onboard account and issue a new card indicating your new beverage package. There is no $$ limit on drinks - there are some high end malts, etc. and some of the high end specialty drinks in the Founders Bar that are not included . All food onboard is included and there are no "extra charges" for anything - have as many lobster or steaks you can eat every night, They do have a few "special dinners" called La Reserve that are served in a special dining room (La Privee) and there is an extra charge for those, You butler can deliver/serve you food from any of the dining areas (including the specialty restaurants) as often as you want. It is always recommended that you discuss with your butler, hopefully, the day ahead, so they can plan their evening as they take care of several cabins, We always ask if they already have several in suite dining request for the evening. The butler can serve your dinner course by course or bring everything at once, The menus for each dining venue are available on the O website - https://www.oceaniacruises.com/culinary Scroll down and click on each restaurant and you will see the menus to click on The GDR is open seating and you just arrive when you would like to eat. Can't answer about zero water...
  5. We have stayed in both a mini-suite on Princess and a PH on Oceania and there is a big difference between the rooms.....PH is much larger, much nicer bathrooms, much nicer sitting area and it comes with a butler who will take care of your wishes/needs. This includes but not limited to having the butler serve/deliver meals from any restaurant (including the specialty restaurants) for any meal. They also bring afternoon canapé and will have your choice of drink ready for you to enjoy (including from your personal stock of wine or liquor). There is a HUGE difference....mini suite 299 sq ft (including 44 sq ft balcony), PH -440 sq ft (including 60 sq ft balcony). You also have 3 bags of complimentary laundry, Unlimited access to Aquamar Spa Terrace, welcome bottle of champagne, use of the executive lounge (on larger ships). All of this comes with the penthouse suite and does not depend upon loyalty level. I suggest you go check out a few YouTubes to see the difference. You will not be disappointed,
  6. You can request your cabin have any kind of specific drink/wine glasses you wish and they will be replaced daily. They also have wine openers in each room.
  7. That was why I mentioned that the amenities you received on Princess were not the norm and it is the same on Oceania, if you are in a full suite or high level loyalty member you receive the same upgraded perks. And since you are Elite on Princess and a full suite passenger you received those amenities and will when you have the same on O you will too...
  8. That is the set up for Elite loyalty members no matter what level cabin you occupy. That is not an amenity for everyone unless you are in a top suite (not a mini suite) on Princess. Elite Membership Benefits Enjoy a complimentary mini-bar set up
  9. The SM SBC is per person and can not be combined
  10. Interesting, when we were on Vista, there were heated loungers to the right when you came through the door that were in the shade.....since it is located at the very front of the ship, it is not conducive to having many areas with shade
  11. You are correct but there were loungers on both sides of Baristas so just chose the side with shade, if we wanted shade. Also loved the areas outside on Deck 14 on the side or front if we wanted to overlook the pool.....
  12. We enjoyed Aquamar on Vista and it was always packed for breakfast and lunch. Another plus was you can order food "to go" and eat at your lounger by the pool or they deliver to your table in Terrace. A much better use of space then La Reserve sitting empty all day and most evenings. Since no one knows for sure exactly what cabin refurbishments will actually occur, difficult to judge $$ use.
  13. If you are willing to not sit around the pool, there are loungers in the sun and shade all around on the upper decks. We found several areas with multiple loungers that look out over the ocean that were never full, crowded or "reserved". Also enjoyed the quiet and no one walking around bumping into us or our lounger. One of our favorite shades places was outside Baraistas - drinks, snacks and bathrooms were just inside the door...
  14. Sorry you misunderstood....each cabin had 2 free WIFI accounts while onboard. Starlink is the Internet service used by the ship to provide Internet. You could upgrade your WIFI account (for a fee) to allow streaming, etc. but not necessary for everyday emails, etc. Also we used WIFI with Whatapp to make calls to family and friends while onboard, We found the regular WIFI worked fine for everything we needed including sending photos via email,
  15. I know you can use OBC but never had a haircut onboard...
  16. Tour price is the price of each tour. Simply More Shore Excursion Package is the price of the excursion if you purchase the minimum necessary to get a 25% discount on all booked excursions (# required varies depending upon length of cruise) and Unlimited is the price (0 or an add on) if you purchase the Unlimited Shore Excursion Package for the cruise (not available on all cruises) The explanation is on the page when looking at the shore excursions: OUR PRICING SIMPLY MORE SHORE EXCURSION PACKAGE Individual Excursions at regular price Minimum of 4 excursions for 25% off
  17. I don't understand - Starliink (WIFI) is free onboard...2 accounts per stateroom. Or was the Starlink (WIFI) not working?
  18. On our VISTA B2B in October/November - we received notices on our bed and it was noted in the Currents several times in the week prior to disembarking. Also, there was information about it in the internet room and they would assist with completing, Sorry you missed these on your Vista cruise.
  19. We just spent 32 days on Vista and did not experience crowding in Terrace and it did not close until after 9PM...we usually went to dinner around 7:30 and easily found tables inside and outside. I am sure it depends upon the ship and itinerary (staying late in port and many people coming back late to the ship and all descending upon Terrace at the same time). The waiters always came around to tell you that the buffet would be closing soon to give you an opportunity to make one last trip. We then would often stay until 9:30 and enjoy our dessert, an after dinner port, etc. while they were clearing off the food from the buffet. The waiters never made us feel rushed to leave.
  20. The OP was expecting to have her luggage picked up and delivered to the ship so the amount of luggage was not a concern. Now that she has discovered this is not happening, she is having to pivot at the last minute. Keep all of the receipts for the extra you had to pay for transfers, extra luggage, etc. and give/send to O for reimbursement. You should be compensated for the total out of pocket expense you incurred due to not having Luggage Forward amenity as promised.
  21. I don't know what to tell you as I just tried it on all 5 of our upcoming cruises and ti worked that way for all.....I did not pay, the cart was the place I stopped. After I checked "prepaid gratuities" it then show our name with the words prepaid gratuities next to them and no other choices....just like your picture shows. Did you check your cart to see if they are in there? Ron House Select-Wine BY Glass & Beer W/Meal Prestige Select - Wine, Beer & Spirits Prepaid Gratuities None Barba House Select-Wine BY Glass & Beer W/Meal Prestige Select - Wine, Beer & Spirits Prepaid Gratuities None
  22. The prepaid gratuities option is indeed under the beverage package option.....it shows as pre-paid under one of the options. When you check on pre-paid gratuities next to each person's name. You then click on add to cart and when you view the cart it will show the total amount owed and you can pay for it (but you can not use OBC) so if you have OBC then just wait until onboard and the gratuities will be added and the amount will be subtracted from your available OBC. It is confusing but that is how is works. PREPAID GRATUITIES 573_Details $180.00 ($18.00 per guest, per day Gratuity Included) You the
  23. This is not true - we had 3 different cruises booked under OLife in 2023 and 2024 and on 2 of the cruises the price was lower under SM and 1 was the same..,,and these were previously booked under a sale offer.
