  1. Yes on the 11/6 Constellation. Many of the old dishes are back and a few more choices than there were before. One thing we didn't see was a chocolate desert every night which was promised. (Unless you count the chocolate ice cream).
  2. ^^This^^ These people paid a premium for a specialized itinerary. They got a more generic med itinerary. My opinion a couple hundred OBC or FCC would have been a nice good will gesture. On my last sailing they were giving larger FCC for chipped paint on the balcony and other cosmetic issues to certain individuals.
  3. Which would have probably added up to less than $100 pp. They used to do this all the time for missed ports (replaced by sea days) but that hasn't happened since the restart.
  4. There is at least 1 TA which I believe includes tips as part of the amenities they add along with a smaller amount of OBC. These come from the TA, not Celebrity. I'm pretty sure that any group space not named by the end of October reverts to the new AI rules. As far as the MoveUp question. Elite Plus gets a 4% bonus added to their bid. If they bid $100 pp it's considered a $104 bid when compared to other bidders.
  5. If you don't see a charge on your CC I'd say very unlikely.
  6. And all this could have been avoided if they just said. "With sailings starting Jan 1, 2024 the following changes will be in effect." Or whatever start date they wanted at least 90 days out so people had the choice to cancel if they wished.
  7. Just be aware the Summit had a full 80 mil Revolution where all staterooms were gutted to the bare walls and refurbished. This has not been done on Connie, the staterooms are feeling the wear of 20 years of service. Some of the public spaces have had some of the touches of Summit but just have your expectations set correctly or you will be disappointed.
  8. Here is the current B2B flyer which states $50 for 3 nights and longer $100 for 10 nights and longer. It does state it excludes Exciting Deals (which I don't think it should). https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_Back_to_Back_Offer_Flyer.pdf
  9. The retreat lounge will serve basically anything that is available on the premium package.
  10. Shareholder credit is NON Refundable. Use it by midnight the last night or lose it.
  11. I don't believe there are different sized laundry bags. From what I understand you get credit for 3 bags which you can use at any time during the cruise one or more at a time. Probably not the last 2 days.
  12. If you are considering Retreat on S class there are way less suites so I find the Retreat areas more intimate and more personal service. Silhouette and Reflection have larger Retreat Lounge with the U shaped bar and the extra specialty dining areas. Reflection has more suites than the rest of the S class and the other retreat areas were not enlarged so there are some complaints about crowding in Luminae. Silhouette would be your best choice if itinerary is a match if you enjoy the retreat features on Edge class.
  13. I think you would be justified to ask to be put back into the GTY pool as you were not assigned an Infinite Veranda that you booked.
  14. If it has surge protection leave it home. It's a fire hazard on a cruise ship.
  15. Correct it would be like a new booking at prevailing rates/promos. Other than that you should retain your deposit and not be charged any type of change fees if you keep the same ship/sail date. We are finding it's not just the reduction of butler service but staff reductions ship wide are causing a reduction of service levels everywhere. The staff is trying their hardest to serve but the shortage of staff and lack of training are evident everywhere.
  16. On Constellation and the other M class ships Concierge Class and Aqua Class staterooms are about 20 sq ft larger than the standard veranda categories. One other thing I try to avoid on these ships are connecting staterooms as they can be noisy. I don't believe any of the AQ rooms are connecting.
  17. Correct. Any OBC due to the price program from the old booking is lost and you get the prevailing rate/promo of the new sailing. However the onboard booking promo is retained. Sometimes they inadvertently remove it but will add it back. It's a promo code similar to "OB SALE 10to13N" which is of course adjusted based on cabin and length of sailing. If you get the shareholder OBC that is always removed but if you re-submit the info to the shareholder department will also get added back.
  18. My TA has been able to place a hold for at least a week. That was before final payment, not sure if it's the same after final.
  19. Just off Constellation 2 days ago as well. I can confirm it's the old software they are using where you can't even check your account on the TV. I can also confirm that I was able to see an HDMI port on the side of TV which I could easily access and was unused. You may have some success using Jim's secret codes to unlock and switch inputs.
  20. I think there is also a 5% fee assessed by the casino when doing this type of cash advance. The fee may be waived in some cases (suite guests, Zenith Captains Club, Some levels of Blue Chip and possibly if using OBC).
  21. If it's a $200 deposit can I assume it was an onboard booking where you chose a ship and sail date? If so it probably makes sense to pay the change fee and keep the same reservation number as you will retain the onboard booking OBC bonus which will be adjusted for the new cruise length and cabin category. Otherwise I see no real advantage to changing to another sailing over canceling as each will have the same $200 penalty.
  22. I use a TA all the time. I have no problems booking Flights By Celebrity either online or by calling them. I don't do it often but I have recently for 2 trips to Europe next year as the pricing was way better on the TA and I wanted to take advantage of the pay later option on the other one.
  23. Just checked on the date the All Included inclusions changed. It was Oct 4th. So if the OP got a price reduction on Oct 7th it should have not included gratuities. I think another assumption the OP is under is that the FCC could be applied to an amount greater than the unpaid balance and somehow have the FCC cover some of the already paid deposit amount. Not the case.
