Years ago on a NYE cruise we were on, a crew member (dancer) who should have known better, climbed on a railing to take a photo and went overboard. Never recovered. Horrible end to the evening for everyone.

I have not ever been able to stream Netflix or other such sites even with the Premium Plan. Best to download anything you want to watch before you go. I used to be slightly annoyed that DH needed lots of downloads for a cruise, but the TV is so bad now that I totally get it. Even with premium wifi when I was on MG I had lots of trouble including photos in text messages. Worked maybe 40% of the time. I will say FaceTime worked pretty well on premium wifi.

My next cruise is on Magic, actually I think I have a couple booked on Magic in the next 6 months so it was great to get a refresher, doesn't seem like they moved anything LOL. We did a cave tour that we enjoyed. Folks behind us didn't think it was all that and a ham sammich but I would recommend it.

Our cruise to Bermuda in 2019 we dealt with 3 hurricanes, one going and two coming back. Our day in Bermuda I felt so bad for the locals, they were trying to get everything buttoned up and had all of us to deal with. Most things were closed or closing. Still had a good time. Rockiest cruise ever though, got thrown out of bed a few times. Talked with a guy who said his wife hadn't been able to leave the cabin in 3 days😳

I love the Paradise, have only sailed her twice but really enjoyed both cruises. I think the fantasy class ships are awesome, a much different experience than the latest/greatest and I'm sorry they seem to have outlived their usefulness. Good to hear you found her in good shape.

Grand Turk is included in many of the Bahamas itineraries, problematic for unvaccinated who currently wouldn't be unable to get off the ship there. Except where specified below, all guests are permitted to go ashore to enjoy one of our tours or independent sightseeing, regardless of vaccination status. Certain destinations have imposed restrictions for unvaccinated guests, and we cannot guarantee that more will not be added. Bermuda, Bonaire, Grand Cayman, St. Kitts and Tortola – age 12 and older will have to remain on board Cartagena (Colombia) and Grand Turk – age 18 and older will have to remain on board

the meal I had at Rudi's on the MG was one of the best meals I've ever had. Go for it.

My brother recently flew to Greece for a private voyage. He was forced to check his bag, and it didn't arrive. He's 6'7. He did try to buy clothes at various locations but nobody had his size. He spent 10 days sailing around Greece and when he checked in for his return flight they had his luggage. Luckily the men he was with were able to loan him a few things.

OP, do you have a PVP that can help you out with this? Definitely call back and get a different person to help get you the exemption letter.
