  1. Depends on how folks choose to cruise.. they have plenty of other complimentary food options but not stateroom delivery
  2. And there will still be the old Plus guests who won't get the two included meals, don't see the benefit in upgrading and won't be inclined to pay the extra fees - this will tail off eventually.
  3. I know this it the purpose of this thread but thought it useful to collate all feedback on which ship has Starlink up and running: Anyone know if Coral and Grand have been updated?
  4. Thanks for the update - have a wonderful time! And for confirming the Gigi's pizza price - this lines up with some menus I saw posted by a passenger on Discovery Princess which showed Appetizer $5.50, Pizza/Pasta $8.50, Special Pizza $12 and Dessert $4. If you ever pop into to O'Malley's would be good if you could check the a la carte pricing there too just in case Princess tweaked those as well.

  6. I guess they are trying to open up more slots now that the Premier package includes two complimentary speciality dining meals. The TA was of the opinion this might suit those who like a heavier lunch and a lighter evening meal but I wasn't convinced 😁
  7. Has anyone heard about Princess rolling out the option to book lunch slots at Speciality Dining venues? It was mentioned by a TA on a Youtube update - it would be the same menu as for evenings but just held over lunch. Seems to match up with some feedback from Island Princess earlier this month where they told Princess were stopping the complimentary Alfredo's pizza pop-up in Sabatini's so they could support these new lunchtime bookings.

    MUTTS

MUTS was shown in an early Sun Princess rendering:
  9. Sophie Gideon is on her way to NYC to join Caribbean Princess as CD.
  10. The other casual dining venues on Regal Princess are Ocean Terrace and Vines.
  11. Thanks for posting these. It's been very hard to find examples of the real-life menu's post-rollout! You don't show the dessert costs - were they still $3 each?
  12. Thank you for taking all this trouble. I agree 3 sea days is more than enough - will be interesting to see if they come back with anything!
  13. Just heard from some passengers who got off Island Princess that Princess won't be doing the pop-up Alfredo's pizzas at Sabatini's on sea days any longer to make space for paid-for Sabatini's lunches. Can you confirm? I know the package changes have just kicked in on Island Princess in the last couple of days and that was the only casual dining offering that might have been impacted.
  14. So we're at the halfway point now. Finally, we see the Kids Clubs this week when the families have a rainy day which is a bit late in the cruise. And a lot of the onboard experiences seem to be tailored for them too. Has there ever been a Neon Night on Princess before where the passengers can get glow painted up? I thought that was something from another cruise line but happy to be corrected. The paper plane competition and Crew v Passengers quiz are recognisable though - spotted both Alex Yepremian and Duke Christopher representing the officers so they may have beefed up their presence just for the cameras.
  15. It has been a bit quiet since the Park19 announcement two months ago - Princess are currently promoting a series of videos by Adam Savage about different engineering topics on Sun Princess. But they were filmed back in March so not many updates on progress or other new features. And I do remember the excitement around Royal Class - mostly the speculation on here though. It was enough to get us to book a 2 day preview cruise on Royal Princess out of Southampton!
  16. Deluxe Balcony layout followed by a Mini-Suite layout Mini-suite has a lot more space as you mentioned plus. - 2 televisions - more storage - welcome glass of bubbly There was mention of an upgraded luxury shower but that isn't in the brochureware so tbc! And if you have choose a Reserve Collection minisuite, you have a separate restaurant on these new ships. Whether you get a different menu is yet to be revealed. Plus Reserve Collection benefits such as priority embark/disembark, bottle of wine on embarkation day, evening canapes on request, upgraded bathrobes.
  17. And there's a circular table in a separate area off the Crown Grill. Is that usual? Does PDR mean Private Dining Room?
  18. The plans displayed in the video show the Entertainment and Cruise Director office - not far from the Arena entrance.😀
  19. The next video from Adam Savage is all about the design of the theater on Sun Princess. Looking at the special loading door and the build challenges in the Arena.
  20. Now this makes me sad, Alfredo's was always Princess' best kept secret and now the change means other people won't get to experience it. Thank you for offering to take a pic though! x
  21. Been watching it, the passengers featured were selected based on them applying to an advert. It does seem to misrepresent the Princess experience - no queuing at embarkation, and not everyone is greeted by the entertainment director or captain, or have free sparkling wine and canapes waiting in their stateroom. Plus towel animals are not that common at all! I found it strange that they had a vegan family on there and focussed on the vegan food experiences in port rather than on the ship. Also the featured passengers tended to do tailored activities in each port that were not available via a Princess excursion. But I will watch the rest, if only to get glimpses of the lovely Regal Princess (which we have cruised on more than any other ship!)
  22. Thanks for posting about your experiences - love seeing it from someone else's view! Great to hear that the port has sorted out a new system to counteract the lack of arrival times. This is this first cruise where the new casual dining changes have been rolled out on Sky Princess so would be interested to see if there is an updated Alfredo's menu if you take your family there!
  23. Sheri from CruiseTipsTV has just done a video from Diamond Princess where she mentions how hot and humid it is (94 degrees and very sweaty on excursions) and that a typhoon meant they were missing Busan on their cruise.
  24. Thank you,! Different pricing on the savoury plates now - they were 10 dollars each in the first Salty Dog menu released with the announcement but now split into two tiers
