Hello, I did say that above in my post #9! Being part Italian I bought bottles of Prosecco (real) that were kept in the fridge of the Passport bar that I drew from. The same with red wine in Murano and MDR. With my Elite + discount I spent less than half of what a drinks package would have cost but with the added benefit I got what I wanted. On MSC Virtuosa in May in the Champagne Bar, we got through 700 bottles of Lanson Black Label in one night. Regards, Cublet

Hello, Yes 2 x US and 1 x Euro over the desk / under the mirror and no more. There is also (a pretty useless) telephone socket too that could look like a USB port - but isn't. Whether by accident of timing or by intention, the kettle and (stewards) vacuum cleaner both have Euro plugs. I have a Euro x 2 adapter so whilst I was there at times both my mobile 'phone was charging and the kettle was boiling and at other times my mobile was charging and the steward was vacuuming. I only think, I am not sure, that the socket in the bathroom is only powered when something else (bathroom light?) is on but my electric toothbrush died the death some time ago. Regards, Cublet.

Hello, It is most definitely worth the extra! You will need, as soon as you are on board, to go to deck 6 (Beethoven) and the L'Atelier Bar where, at the entrance to the Indochine Restaurant, is a counter for forward specialty restaurant bookings. I've never seen this marked or signposted anywhere, you are just supposed to know. You cannot make a short-cut and go directly to the Butchers Cut as it doesn't work like that. If it is a 'booze cruise' then the restaurants will probably be quiet until late. Regards, Cublet

Hello, Answering the topic's subject line, it has to be the Champagne Bar (other sources of 'bubbles' are available). And not exclusively because it had Champagne, but because it was a 'bar'. Anthem, that I cannot wait to see the back of, has 'pubs' galore (some with and some without the spit and sawdust) but no 'bar' like the Champagne Bar on Voyager or Freedom class. And another thing (warming to my theme), if I ask for either Champagne or Prosecco on MSC, that's what I served and not the all-purpose swill served on Royal. Regards, Cublet
