On Equinox last October- no scones. On Apex now, last leg of B2B. Scones available, both plain and raisin, every day except boarding day. First day on ship asked OVC manager about scones, since we didn’t have them on Equinox. He said “what is snack time without scones”. Plenty of cream, clotted cream, and jam.

We are currently on Apex B2B didn’t hear anything about this.

We are on the second leg of our B2B and wanted to report on the Starlink internet. I pre purchased the Stream 2 device package. The cost was $237.93 each week…that was the pre purchase price with Elite discount. The internet was great! I experience very fast speeds with no delay. It’s expensive, but good. Was on Sky Princess Jan 7-14 and paid $87.50 for the 4 device package. It is cheaper but really slow.

Yes there was a nice salad bar. Large selections of desserts. No pizza. Flank steak was good. I thought the food was good, just not the selections that we have had on Celebrity in the past. I am not complaining, just reporting.

Here are a few pictures of the buffet, on Apex, last night at 7:15 pm. The picture with the server carving the flank steak was the only main food island. Other island had desserts. In Celebrity’s defense, there were not many people eating. Perhaps because of the football game. It was the first night of the cruise, so I believe most passengers were not aware of the limited choices, and that was the reason they didn’t go to buffet.

Did SKY Princess 7-14 Jan. Apex 14-21 and starting second leg on Apex today. In my opinion the dining room food has been good (cruise food) and the portions good size. There are 3 different sections on the menu with several choices. OVC does have a very limited selection at night. The few times we ate there I was able to find something of my liking, but make no mistake, it is not like the buffets of old. Sky Princess had a full buffet in the evening with at least 4 different carving stations. If the changes, limiting selections at OVC, are a deal breaker with Celebrity, Princess might be a good option for some. My wife and I like both Celebrity and Princess and will continue to sail with both. As for us we are having a great time on Apex and will be sorry to leave next Saturday.

UPDATE Last night at Tortola the buffet was back to “normal “. Most stations were closed. We departed before the dinner hour so the San Juan night was because of our late departure.

On the Apex. Went up to the buffet after dinner in the dining room. We are docked in San Juan and have a late departure. Not sure if it was one off, but there were a lot more stations open tonight. There was a carving station and the grill was open for cook to order small steaks, chicken and fish. A big improvement over the first night We eat in the dining rooms and the food and service has been very good. Portions are good size. So far very happy with our first week B2B.

On the Apex now for a B2B. The buffet is very good for breakfast and lunch. Dinner buffet is very limited. You won’t go hungry, but the selections are very few. We eat dinner in the dining room so no big deal for us, but if you eat dinner in the buffet you will be disappointed.

On a nice sunny day, chair hogs are bad. Get up early to claim your spot. 😃

No Coke Zero on Sky. We picked some up in San Juan.

Just got off the Sky yesterday. There were shorts in the dining room every night. Also saw men with no shirts eating in the buffet. I will say it was one of our better Princess cruises. We did Enchanted last March and was disappointed. We are now on Celebrity Apex for a B2B. We enjoy both lines for their different experiences. Use to favor Princess, but now slightly favor Celebrity.

No explanation given. I should have probably followed up with someone, but didn’t. Heard a few other people talking about it. I couldn’t figure out what the reasoning was, had no problems on other cruises.

Was on Equinox last October. Room guy told us Safety Officer would not let him open balcony partitions.

Presently on the Sky Princess. Buffet food, all three meals, has been excellent. Plenty of options. Was on Apex last January and Equinox in October and buffet was very good. On Enchanted Princess and the buffet was not very good and service was terrible. We move tomorrow to the Apex for a B2B and anxious about the buffet changes and will try to report.

Is there a way to pre pay tips on the Celebrity website?

We got off this cruise Saturday. Friday afternoon my wife and I got a sore throat and started to cough. Both took tests and both were negative. Tested again Sunday and both positive. All shots and boosters. Never felt terrible. Still have slight cough, but feeling good. Will text again in a couple of days. Lots of people coughing all over the ship.

I have noticed, in the past, that the newest Princess ship usually gets Terminal 2. For example, when both Enchanted and Sky are both in port, Enchanted gets Terminal 2. I’m sure there must have been exceptions, but this seems to be the norm.

I am going to use my Ipad...do I need to download a ZOOM App or will the Onpoint Link take me to their site to set up the video? Thanks

I guess I don’t understand what you are saying? I don’t think you mean that you should tip the steward more if he does a nighttime turndown service? I almost always leave a little extra, at the end of the cruise, for great service. My definition of great service is…steward is friendly, keeps ice bucket full, and services cabin morning and evening.

I like the evening turn down service. It’s nice to come back to your room in the evening and have a refreshed room. If you don’t want it just let the steward know.

Was on Enchanted 20-30 March. I didn't notice a sign for Elite and Suite pax service.
