  1. There still are a lot of drinks that you can get with the basic drink package. Other lines that I’ve been on had a somewhat limited choices with their basic package. I actually think it’s still a pretty good amount of choice compared to other lines.
  2. Happened to me too. I did some research on either Flight Ease or my airlines website. Somewhere in faqs it said that it was ok if that happened. I’ll try to find it later.
  3. Just curious, did you have to print it out or is this just your preference? In other words was a digital boarding pass also an option?
  4. The Riverwalk in Tampa is nice and close to port . To me Ybor City is just ok. The Columbia restaurant in Ybor is nice though! The aquarium is right near the cruise ships. Uber or Lyft from the airport is cheaper than the one taxi company that operates outbound trips from the airport by about $15-20.
  5. What I did was email my TA a list of all the gift card numbers and pin. Most of the numbers were fairly consecutive so the TA cut and pasted the numbers and edited the last few digits with each entry. So it didn’t take her too long. I felt comfortable with that, but some prefer to call and read it off.
  6. It seems like open dining would also complicate the even distribution of guests between the 2 main theater shows.
  7. Maybe the bartender used different brands of alcohol to make the drink on different days. Perhaps one rum was closer to where he was standing, or one brand had run out so he used another. Different brands have different prices. Just curious, do you remember what the line item was on your account for the drink? Was it a drink name, did it just say cocktail, or did it list the liquor?
  8. Thanks for the info. Here I was thinking that a TA would be a smaller crowd! But I’ve mainly been on Caribbean/Bahamas cruises so I’m sure it will be less crowded than those. (New to HA)
  9. I wouldn’t want to wait another whole year.
  10. @Gail & Marty sailing away that’s good to hear. Do you think there will be much turnover at the end of the GWV? I’ll be on the TA. (Fixed Dining)
  11. I answered what I could in bold above. The rest I don’t know but I’m sure others will chime in.
  12. The limited time offer must have ended. I just looked and it’s back to normal. For a very short time it said Premium beside some of the cards. If you clicked on the premium a box opened up and said for a time you could order up to 20something?? cards if it was marked premium. I didn’t actually do it as I only needed two.
  13. You can use the gift cards with a TA. Also, for a limited time they are letting you buy more than five gift cards per month on the AARP website.
  14. If I had late dining (which happened to me on MSC) going to a show first wouldn’t bother me. I prefer early dining though and a show after.
  15. There’s always Downy Wrinkle Release. I have good success with it on women’s clothes. A men’s dress shirt might need a real iron.
  16. On some cruises the early booking bonus lasts longer. For instance I was able to book it six months out, but for a TA which books up slower than other itineraries.
  17. On my last cruise (NCL) the stewards were REQUIRED to unplug anything that was charging.
  18. I’ve never seen crème de menthe on any bar menus or lists. Seems like a common liqueur to carry. (Maybe in old fashioned) Do They usually have it though not listed? It’s great on ice cream or after dinner to settle the stomach. (Hmm Jäegermeister is good for that too)
  19. From what I’ve read you have to upgrade on board BEFORE using your beverage package even once. I think a bartender can do it.
  20. Some things on the website I had to use my laptop as opposed to the app or my tablet browser. Try different devices or browsers. Sometimes Chrome works better than Safari for me. Some have success with incognito mode on their browsers.
  21. I’ll be on Zuiderdam for the spring TA. In the 14 days there is one pop up which is Morimoto. I was really hoping for a Tamarind pop up.
  22. Just watched this. A good part of the vlog is Morimoto. They loved it.
  23. Me too. Sadly my current apartment is shower only. I am super excited to have a tub in my cabin. More hotels are starting to go shower only as well. 😢
  24. There is always the accessible cabin option. Although we don’t need one we have ended up in accessible cabins twice. (We don’t book very far out) We’ve always been satisfied with them but this was on other lines.
