    I booked a partially obstructed on deck 4 for our upcoming TA. I like the bigger windows (balcony slider size) and convenience of the location. I would love an aft view but for 14+ days I want a cabin with less of a walk to get to it. I like popping in and out. Plus I don’t have a balcony budget at the moment.

    I don’t think there is an exact answer. I’m fairly sure it varies. I agree with the poster above if it’s a refundable deposit. That’s what we did

    I’m on the May 11th TA on Zuiderdam. Morimoto is a pop up one night in the PG. on the app it just shows as unable to book PG that night. website you can book it though as Morimoto.

    Why not just buy refundable OBC? There isn’t a savings with the card is there?

    I found I had to use a laptop to make reservations. The phone and tablet kept giving me problems

    For my upcoming cruise the reservations opened up exactly 120 before sailing

    I have had success finding a TA using a website that lets you put in the cruise you want. Different TAs compete for your cruise business by sending you offers. I’m sure I can’t name the website.here Now that I have a TA that I like I will just go straight to him next time.

    Thanks for the tip! Then I may just go all out and order the Delmonico and ask for dumplings. I’ve never had dry aged steak before. Kind of a bucket list thing for me. This is kind of a once in a lifetime trip for me coming up, might as well add steak. 😂

    @POA1 what are the lobster dumplings like? I generally prefer ribeye to tenderloin but the dumplings might entice me to order that.

    Especially if I had booked a lower level of cabin due to having the retreat in my plans. I’d ask for a spa pass myself!

    Hmm. This got me thinking. We booked a Lufthansa/EW Discover flight in economy. But now I wonder it it’s economy or economy lite. Mainly the differance is luggage allowance.

    Thanks for the info. Just to clarify for my upcoming Zuidy cruise. Are there shelves in the closet, but just no drawers? I’ll be in an obstructed OV on deck 4. When looking for cabin tour videos I’m not sure whether to look at OV cabins or verandas. Those obstructed OV cabins have windows that mimic sliding glass doors.

    What an amazing journey it will be! We will boarding Zuidy for the TA right after you disembark. Can’t wait to hear all about her.

    It’s nice to hear that the riverboat has a more reasonable price. I find all cruise ship spas have outrageous prices.
