  1. Will be interested to see if the Pacific Coastal repos to/from Alaska are included in this group of releases... and where will the east coast to Quebec cruises be included?
  2. Wonder how they handle embarkation...? People have to drop luggage at berth 93 and bus over to the ship? Sounds like a giant hassle. Looked on Goggle Maps and it's 2.5 miles, so probably not walkable.
  3. Not to worry… Future Cruise people will be there for you to book onboard… $100 deposit and some obc are great benefits!
  4. Well, I did all of those things on our Eclipse Alaska cruise last month, including flying Air Canada where everyone was masked. Still tested positive 2 days after getting home. Am I sure that I got it onboard? Of course not… but there were many, many people crammed together everywhere. Will continue masking on our Nov cruise and hope for the best.
  5. Recently back from Alaska cruise with single rate from a sale… three of us had solo cabins and all got double points. One had to call to get them, but that’s not out of the ordinary. No issues when calling… points posted within a few days.
  6. True... got off Eclipse a week ago and those are the only outlets except the shaver plug in the bathroom.
  7. We used OnPoint a couple weeks ago... the rep said mine was negative as soon as the control line was filled in... lol... maybe 5 minutes start to finish.
  8. Just got off Eclipse last week and can verify that there are only 2 US plugs and 1 2 prong European at the desk... no other plugs except the shaver plug in the bathroom... no USB in my C1 cabin. I also take a 2 prong european adapter that has 2 US plug availability.
  9. I have found that calling Celebrity directly and waiting for hours on the phone is considerably better than sending anything via email, no matter the subject. Also agree that screen shots are always the best backup whenever you do anything on the website. I have a desktop folder with all of them by trip... lol
  10. On Eclipse now and there is an out of bounds area on deck 3. Upon return from an excursion today there were quite a few new crew onboarding and being tested on the pier. Those cabins could be for them as they have to quarantine for at least a few days. Virtually nobody masking except crew and no mention of Covid… just the washy washy people outside Oceanview with the sanitizer. Officer said we are 100% occupancy, so not sure how that is calculated.

  12. Nope… but just remember that every person on the ship will have the same issue you do. I just hang stuff in the bathroom and turn on the shower.
  13. Nope… we have friends on board… we’re supposed to board this Sunday so hope they get it figured out. What a bummer for those aboard now!

  15. Agree... we are going next year and generally do private excursions over ship based ones. Would love to hear about what you did.
  16. Haha... that would have been July 14th... but even the newest one wasn't added then. Have gotten points in the past, but they stopped being added in June for some reason.
  17. I did the same thing on June 17 but was asked to email any screen shots I have… still have heard NOTHING!
  18. Haha... agree that it's weird not to see the person you are speaking to. That's what you get with the eMed testing thru Celebrity. A different person comes back on in 15 min to see if your test is positive or negative but you never see either person.

Anxious to hear… we have appts on 9/2 and one of the Celebrity FB groups has several people sharing bad experiences with people having their appt times changed during the night and them not seeing the emails and missing the appt. We have only used eMed before and had no problems so hope these are one off issues.
  20. I am in the same boat, only with 10 points from two separate videos. I called on June 14 and after a couple hours on hold/transferred, connected with Jenn in Celebrity Engagement Center. Since I started keeping screen shots of the final screen from PUP activities, she asked me to email her those screen shots. On June 17 I got an email saying that she had gotten the screen shots and forwarded them to Loyalty Dept. Jenn said she would follow and let me know when the points had been added... 30-45 days. Forward to yesterday and I emailed Jenn again to ask her to also look into the point that should have been added on 7/14. We are Elite and will likely never make Zenith, but will get to Elite Plus in a couple of years. Not that there are any great benefits to E+... now it's just the point that if I do the quiz or watch the video it should be very easy for the computer to give me the points. Good luck with your calls if you decide to take a half day to do that... lol
  21. Did you notice if there were taxis or any other transport to/from town? We are not fond of lines or busses… lol
  22. I do hope you will consider emailing Lisa Lutoff-Perlo and say exactly what you did here. I have suggested this to a couple others who were nicely surprised by a rapid response. They need to keep hearing from us… and we can keep hoping for change.
  23. They have always had at least almond and soy at Cafe al Bacio… I usually have almond, but remind them to shake the carton because it settles.
