  1. Within some of the "live on ..." posts, photos of menus can be found. However, currently, NCL ships rotate menus in the Main Dining Rooms. Therefore, you would need to check each day for which menu will be utilized that evening! BTW, BirdTravels has just completed a cruise, and did live posts with lots of menu photos (that you might find helpful).
  2. Just to clarify info on above post... https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/great-stirrup-cay#gsc-map Silver Cove Villas are in two areas, which make up the Silver Cove exclusive area, which includes an exclusive bar and dining area. Lagoon Villas surrounding the lagoon are available in three sizes (2 bedroom Villa, 1 bedroom Villa, and small villa). The separate Ocean Villas are just a short distance away and receive same perks as Lagoon Villas. Villas have A/C! Cabanas are NOT a part of the Silver Cove! Small and Large Cabanas are available further along the beach, which is approximately the middle of Great Stirrup Cay (near the Lighthouse Beach Bar). They are open, but do provide shade.
  3. SILVER COVE VILLAS, and cabanas (not in Silver Cove!) must be purchased through the Shore Excursion desk (Pre-cruise or onboard). It definitely helps to know the difference between VILLA in Silver Cove, as apposed to cabanas in the middle of the island! This link displays both (with generalized pricing): https://www.ncl.com/shore-excursions/search?sort=searchWeight&perPage=12&destination=Bahamas+%26+Florida+Cruises&port=NPI&priceRange=300+2000
  4. You get exactly (only) what is described by the NCL website. The Spa Balcony staterooms feature tranquil spa décor and include two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed, a single sofa bed, easy access to the adjacent Mandara Spa and fitness center, as well as complimentary access to the Thermal Suite during regular Spa hours. (Sleeps up to three) Accommodates: 3 Total Approx. Size: 208 sq. ft. Balcony Size: 32 sq. ft
  5. I thought my above post included the entire FAQ. Spa bookings are addresses in question12! https://www.ncl.com/content/upgrade-advantage-faq
  6. A quick note of caution (to align expectations onboard your cruise): The above Premium Plus Beverage Package flyer is over a year old, and note (small print at the very bottom) "subject to change". None-the less, @Sailing12Away provided a very helpful flyer, which gives best examples!!!
  7. There are selections that are included by the bottle, and others by glass only with the Premium Plus Package. Everything is subject to the availability onboard your ship, during your sailing.
  8. It would seem f(rom quite a few various review posts) that the selection of availability can vary from ship to ship, AND, from cruise to cruise!
  9. UPGRADE ADVANTAGE FAQ 1. Is the offer amount per person per day or for the entire duration of the cruise? The offer amount is per person for the entire duration of the cruise. Offers are based on two occupants per stateroom - only the first and second guest will be charged. 2. Does the upgrade include any additional promotions? The upgrade does not include any additional promotions. However, you get to keep whichever promotions you already have.
  10. This info might be helpful: https://www.ncl.com/about/contact-us# (you'll need to scroll down to "SPECIAL NEEDS". Also here is a link to a recent post with similar concerns as yours:
  11. Because you are new to NCL, you might have missed the Terms and Conditions (easy to miss ...at the bottom of page). I urge you to read it for making best choices. I hope this info is helpful to you! https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions * Main points: No limit to number of drinks, nor dollar amount, on the Free at Sea Plus. Also, take note of the Free at Sea PLUS package (newly available), which "might" make sense for you if you would be booking Shore Excursion through NCL, if you would be wanting to upgrade to Unlimited internet, if you want more Specialty Dining, in addition to the Plus Beverage Package. *** DO take note: Only available to first 2 passengers per stateroom (must be 21)! The selection of included bottles of wine might vary from cruise to cruise. (currently) Supply chain issues can affect availability of selections of alcohol choices.
  12. You can go to Guest Services desk the day before disembarkation and ask for your refund in cash. (I can't say for certain, but I do believe there is a limit to the dollar amount they will give you.) On the final full day, go asap, because the desk gets very busy later in the day!
  13. The "Chat" agent did give you the correct current information! You can find that information on the NCL website: https://www.ncl.com/travel-requirements-by-country (found via a link at the very top left hand corner of Norwegian's website, which looks like this: ALL CRUISERS WELCOMED: Travelers of any vaccination status can sail. View requirements.
  14. To clarify NCL policy: Daily Service Charge (DSC) may be paid for with OBC, only if the OBC is refundable (purchased by someone)! OBC that NCL gives as a perk are NOT refundable! Therefore, it may not be used for DSC. But it certainly has valuable for purchases made while onboard the ship (other than DSC).
  15. I would call the ShorEx number and ask them to check availability. 1- 866-625-1167
  16. You have logged into your account, selected your cruise, selected Explore and Plan (upper left-hand corner), and selected the Shore Excursions tab on the left hand side? If so, and there are no excursions available, I would say that they might be sold out. Otherwise, you might call NCL to verify. We have selected and paid for excursions for each of our booked NCL cruises through May 2023.
  17. Very helpful, thank you! Have a wonderful cruise!!! I just want to point out a possible variable with the above information for anyone who is not aware of the Latitudes discount. Latitudes discount depends on the cruiser's Latitude status, so the Shore Excursion discount could be 10%, 15%, or 20%.
  18. Since it is only Tuesday (USA), you still have a chance!! You'll likely have more info (yes/no) tomorrow or Thursday!
  19. Sadly, (especially for those being cancelled) your guess is quite likely one of the factors. Yet, I imagine there are a number of algorithms in the mix. It's sad that this is happening!
  20. I am sorry the cancellations keep happening. That is exactly why we've given up on Hawaii, for now. I hope things DO work-out for you soon!
  21. Your version seems to be from 2/19, where as, I posted version 7/21. (Tiny print at the very bottom of page.) However, I still urge caution (because of numerous CC reports of "lack of availability (some spirits/wines, on some cruises)!
  22. Yes, Free at Sea is the Premium (NOT Premium Plus) package. I'm sorry, but I don't drink beer, so I have never paid attention to bottles vs draught.
  23. Below is a link to the Premium Beverage Package (Standard list). *** However, I caution you to realize that these lists are over a year old and should only be used for an idea of what might possibly be available on any given cruise, due to some supply chain actual availability! https://app.ncl.com/sites/default/files/premium-beverage-package-2021v2.pdf *** PREMIUM PLUS https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/premium-plus-beverage-package.pdf
  24. I was wondering about that also! If we aren't staying in the Haven, we would NOT bother the concierge. However, I do feel that NCL probably should have this "gray area" cleared-up on each of the ships!
