Currently passing the mouth of the Potomac and Smith Island. She should be ready to pull into the berth almost as soon as Carnival Pride leaves.

We just drove by the port around 6. From a distance it looked like both ships were slowly passing each other. I'm pretty sure neither was at the dock

So what happened with these ships did they change itinerary? I leave on Thursday and now I'm worried is Florence going to stay alive and be a problem in Bayonne?

No reason to worry. The forecast is looking decent for NJ for Thursday.

Instead of sailing to Bermuda, Grandeur went to the Caribbean and stayed 2 or 3 extra days.

GOS was supposed to be back early Thursday. Didn't make it back to port until Sunday night. We were supposed to leave Thursday afternoon for a 9 night, 5 port cruise. Now we are only getting 5 nights, 1 port. We get into Halifax at 12:30 wed, leave 8:30 thurs am

Would have been good to be in GOS for a B2B.

Your first 5 nights, ends up to be 9, with half your cruise fare as OBC, and half as FCC. 9 nights for points.

Your 9, becomes 5, but you get a FCC for the missing nights, and OBC for the change, and full 9 nights for points.

So you have an almost free 2 week cruise, with 18 nights for points. :D

Seen it go both ways, not getting them or pleasantly pleased...

Looks like not so far, others though...never know

They gave you what you originally paid for. I don't think they've given extra points in the past, but a search might turn up something. The 5 night turning into 9 nights with the OBC and FCC was a lot to have received. 25 cruises and we've never been extended, but we do avoid Aug and Sept on purpose.

Sounds like either or. More points but no credit or credit and no extra points. I wonder how they decide which to give.

Because cruise points are based on nights cruising. So if they keep you cruising longer, they should give the points.

And the refunds they gave, were for the itinerary change, not for the longer cruise.
