M Life perks through C&A in Vegas?

I will be staying at MGM Grand for a conference in Las Vegas and in my reservation I input my Crown and Anchor number in the M Life section. Does anyone know what perks this would provide at the hotel?

Do I need to sign up for M Life separately, or am I "in" with my C&A number?

In my experience, you need to sign up for M life. We were offered a reduction on room rates in Vegas. At other properties( other cities) , we were offered buffets, discount in stores etc. There is a chart on the M life site listing the various benefits at specific M life locations.

Good luck

M

You can have your accounts synced before you go, too. I did it through email. Then we just had to go to the mlife desk at the hotel to pick up our cards. Probably saved a few minutes. Otherwise take you Crown and Anchor numbers (and your last sea pass cards, if your nervous like me) to the mlife desk.

Not sure about your C&a level, but higher status matches allow you to go in a much shorter check in line. In that case, go to the mlife desk in the casino and get your card so you can avoid potential long, long lines.

I agree with others get it before hand so all you have to do at the mlife desk is get the card. If you're higher in C&A you will get higher status that will get you a special line at check in (if nothing else) that's worth the price. :) Earlier this year Total Rewards had a match to MLife that I had matched with C&A.

If nothing else you get more express comps on your play as well. Every little bit helps. :)

I made an M Life account online now and it is a total baseline zero account. how do I link up for the C&A benefits and / or resort credits?

The same thing happened to us.

I sent an email to comments@mlife.com asking how to get the status match. The next day I received an email saying they could not locate our account and asking me to submit our mlife member numbers, c&a numbers, preferred email addresses, other email addresses, and dates of birth to help locate our account. A few days later, we were notified that our mlife status had been upgraded to Platinum.

You could also call 888-761-7111 and get it taken care of immediately.

Then you just have to pick up your card at the mlife desk at any MGM casino.

Thanks just called M Life and they contacted C&A; moved me up to Gold with M Life which is their midtier.

I e-mailed MGM directly and asked them to link my M LIfe and Royal Caribbean C&A accounts, and asked what the benefits are.

Received this reply:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for contacting M life Member Services. We have added your Royal Caribbean number to your account, at this time they are updating their rewards partnership we don’t have an ETA when it will be back up, you can contact them at 800-762-0702 to see if they have more up to date information at this time. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Best regards,

We were in Vegas last weekend and had upgraded our mlife account to Gold thanks to this reciprocative arrangement with Crown and Anchor. The biggest benefits we found to be the free parking which saved us about $60 and the ability to bypass most of the buffet entry lines, which saved us a lot of time.

Just went through this - for the first time ever I had to pull up my RCCL page that shows I am Diamond, not just give them the C&A number. Also heard from them that they are unsure if there will be a continuing relationship with RCCL so it may not be worth anything in the future.

So, please update us with how it all worked and if it was worth it? I did this several years ago, but haven’t been to vegas for several years.

I did get a gold card through M life, I was able to skip the entire check in line and use the vip lounge with no wait, but no other discernible perks while I was there. A colleague of mine signed up and got a nice discount on show tickets. None of the perks are roll out the red carpet variety, but nice to have and the cost was right
