Radio - Have a great cruise - Can't wait to read your awesome reviews. Got my chemo today so you will keep me busy. I can't wait to go on July 17th for 5 nights as well.

We always seem to do the same cruise LOL. Can't wait to see the pictures of the ship.

I'm in a balcony cabin on deck 8 when we sail.

Perfect!!! I have never read one of your live reports, but we too are leaving on the Glory, June 19th for 5 nights. I have been so anxious to hear/read anything about this cruise. Can't wait for your pictures and reviews. Very interested in food review/pics/menus. Sounds like you are a great "review guy". Have a great trip!

We are on the sailing this Sat, June 19th! Radio...I raced in the house after work tonight and told the kids to pull up Cruise Critic to see if you had posted an update. We are all enjoying your live reports! Thanks!!

Any chance you could post the Kids Korner events? No worries if not since you're not traveling w/ kids...but never hurts to ask! :-)

+1.. It would be greatly appreciated if you would be willing to grab the Capers for the various age groups (extra plug for 6-8) and post them after your back.

Have a great trip! I'm excited for you as you start your vacation and am looking forward to previewing this for a possible trip on the same ship/itinerary!

Hello everyone. . . . We were able to leave at about 540PM today. I’m not sure why we left late, but I did see new passengers still coming on board as late as 515PM.

There were a ton of passengers out on deck at sail away. The Activities staff were getting passengers on deck involved with dancing, and there was a lot of music.(it was pretty good music too) The Carnival Seaside Theatre captured everyone on the big screen as they were dancing, and having a good time.

We Pre Paid gratuities, and were signed up for Your Time Dining. I went to the Platinum dining room shortly after we boarded to ask the Hostess when would be a good time to arrive with no waiting. She said that it all depends on the cruise, but ((Most)) of the time there will never be a wait if you arrive before 7PM. For tonight she was right, as we were seated immediately as we arrived at 630PM.

I had the fried Shrimp, Gazpacho, and some wonderful Lasagna. . .it was very good. The service was excellent. We had a great wait staff. (I will try to get all of the menus scanned (and posted) when I return home).

The Camelback Casino was very nice to me tonight, and I hope that my luck will remain steady for a few days ! (There is no charge for taking out cash when you put it on your Players Bank through your Fun Pass Card)

I am going to the Welcome Aboard Show, down in the Amber Palace with our CD (Jorge Solano)at 1030PM. Tomorrow will be a long day, and I need a little shut-eye. There will be lots of things to do, and lots of photos to take. I should be posting a few times as well !

Here are a few pics of our departure from New York City. . . .More pics tomorrow !

Thanks for all of the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in. . .

Radio,

If you go to the casino bar please ask for Catherine and tell her that James & Kerry say hello. We just got off The Glory today and she was great. Ask her for a RED Carnival pen and she will definitely get a good laugh. Have a fantastic cruise,we did and I'm looking forward to your "LIVE REVIEWS".
